Chapter 17 by Zeebop Zeebop

What does Reed Richards discover?

Reed Discovers The Tattoo Is Altering Her DNA

Sue Storm lay on the table in Reed Richard's lab. Every sensor and medical device in the world seemed to be pointed at her derriere, which now rose in the air like a magnificent illusion of a double moonrise, sliding into thick, meaty thighs.

"Do I have to be naked?" Sue asked. Glad that at least Johnny and Ben weren't here, busy as they were keeping the children preoccupied.

"I don't want anything interfering with the probe, Susan," Reed said.

Sue's heart went cold. He often called her "dear," "dearest," or "darling." Calling her full name was often a sign that Reed was upset. She turned her head to glance guiltily at Mr. Fantastic.

He wasn't smiling as he stared at a three-dimensional model of her now enormous ass.

She had told him the truth. How she had confronted Porkum. The humiliating defeat. The tattoo. The letters SOW itched on her lower back, a mark of shame almost as distinct as the red letter A that Reed would probably insist she sew onto her costume.

If their marriage survived this trial.

"This is bad," he said. "The nanoviral load contained inside the tattoo is altering your genetic structure. Inserting DNA sequences with both mutant and porcine material."

Sue frowned. A decade-plus of marriage had given her the equivalent of a doctorate in deciphering psychobabble.

"I'm turning into a pig?" she said.

"A pig-woman," Reed maneuvered a probulator to her swollen buttock. "Massive increase in gluteal muscle tissue and fat reserves. No wonder you've been so hungry. I only hope the changes haven't significantly altered your brain."

Alarm spiked the Invisible Woman's heart rate, and several monitors shifted into alert. Reed seemed to realize what he said, and for a moment his visage softened.

Then he saw the dark letters above Sue Storm's caboose, and his resolve hardened.

"Right now, your body is struggling to keep up with the changes. I can remove the nanoinfection, but it isn't safe to do anything until your body stabilizes. And there's only one way to do that."

"What is it?" Sue asked. "What do I have to do?"

How does Reed Richards answer her?
