"I'm all right," you reply. "How's the fortress? Is everything holding?"

"It's about as usual," she answers. "Adventurers raided overnight and killed Commander Crescenthorn, so the title is now held by Commander Badaxe. He's our third commander this week. We lost a couple minibosses, too. It's fine. In a few days we'll have your crop of replacement warriors."

Redhoof sounds like she's very used to giving morning briefings.

"Kal the Swift captured a few adventurers before they could recall out, and we haven't killed them yet, in case you need them for something. Citrinas is still in the Hollow Eyes dungeon. We noticed a new mana node below the fortress, but I checked and you're in the middle of it, so I told everyone to ignore it. Leraje is **** but stable; honestly I think it's just malnutrition at this point."

"Wow," you say. That's a lot to respond to. "Wait, you're not the commander?"

"Hah! Definitely not. I'm just in charge," Redhoof says. "The Army of Light keeps scrying the commander and sending adventurers to kill him. My title for now is Adjutant, but if they start scrying for that title, I'll switch to Janitor or something. It doesn't matter. Everyone knows who to come to when there's a problem."

You laugh. "Good solution," you admit. "It'd be better if we could keep the commanders alive, but -- yeah."

"I'm glad to see you, Redhoof," you add. "Really I am. But, um. Why are you here?"

"Where else?" she asks. "I can track the whole fortress from here. Especially after all those levels from last night. I can give orders from here, now, too. And, well. You didn't come back to us, last night, after the Court Mage's stupid stunt. Are you okay?"

"I'm better now," you admit. "The thing with Leraje..."

"She has a caretaker, normally," Redhoof says. "Demon King Reala. In between shouting at everyone, she makes sure Leraje gets enough food and sleep. It's really cute, I'm told. But she's here, now, and Reala is in the City of Iron holding the nation together. So..."

"Ah," you agree. "That... sort of makes sense."

"But also," Redhoof continues. "There's one more reason I'm here." She leans back against you and grabs a handful of your body. You obligingly form it into a tentacle, and she wraps it around herself. "I watched you last night," she says. "Everyone you laid with had a good time. A great time, really, from what I could see. Even Leraje, when she passed out, had a smile on her face."

"Hah, thanks," you say. "I do try."

"And now it's morning," Redhoof continues. "And I know how men are when they've just woken up." She pulls your tentacle down her cleavage. "And... here's me. If you want me?"

You do, in fact, want Redhoof.

You take her softly. Gently. If last night was all about size and girth and power, this morning is reminding yourself that you still have technique. You set her down, slime-free except for a bit of seed trickling out of her nethers. She stretches big, then pulls her clothes back on. "Where are we going?" she asks.

"I'm going to fix Leraje," you say. "For you, I have an assignment. Can a Level 82 Seer scry something called the Isekai Chamber? There's a big magic circle burned into the floor there..."
