John was racing through the forest toward the feeling when his tenant decided to question his course of action.

"You sure that's a good idea? Look to me like they're weaklings, if they are under attack we should ally ourselves with whoever is doing the slaughtering." Legion said and for once the young prince could tell he was serious.

"And would we trust them to watch our back and not do some more slaughtering on us?" John retorted.

"Isn't it obvious? We enslave and turn their woman into cock hungry sluts, then we take over and kill the rebellious elements to make sure we have control." The hungry incubus announced triumphantly.

"I'm surprised, the elms are literally just woman so why is it that you're suddenly on the other side? Is it because it's dangerous?" John questioned actually curious as to why his tenant is not jumping on the occasion the elms represent. There was a long pause before Legion's responded.

"No! They're not natural, changing your men into female like that? Got to be something wrong with those peoples." The incubus said. John had to admit he had a point there, even with the reason given it was a real commitment to keep doing it centuries later.

"It's hard to change your ways after that long, and who's to know they aren't right to do it? Maybe not having men around really is keeping them safe." The young strategist answered just before stopping close to the top of a hill.

"BAH! Not even you believe that." Legion retorted while they came to the top and saw the village for the first time.

"Well, you might be okay with letting women and children die but I'm not." John whispered looking on to the devastation.

"So be it, the central tower must be where this Matriarch is, I suggest we make our way closer before you create your diversion. If you really want to save her we need to be close enough for the diversion to matter." The incubus proposed in a serious tone.

"I was thinking the same thing, for the diversion, I will need your help." John revealed before making his way into the burning city.

Asagi was awkwardly standing at attention waiting for captain Hail to address the squad and her own party.

"How the hell do you know this thing won't just decide to bite or ass?!" Said the DHG captain unable to keep quiet about the beast sitting next to Link. The small elf looked at her with a passive look before responding.

"I don't, the only thing I know is that it seems to understand John and that ever since it started following us there weren't any problems." Link answered with a shake of shoulders. Mawsie also looked at her in a bored manner before letting what seemed like a huff and looking away, Asagi had the unpleasant feeling she just had been dismissed as irrelevant by the beast.

Asagi had to give it to her, captain Hail was a good leader. The speech was short and to the point but she made sure to keep them focused on what needed to be done instead of worrying about their village situation. The younger captain was also pleased to hear her acknowledge John's help by ordering herself and his companions to help them secure the matriarch.

"Alright peoples, focus on your breathing and footing! We don't want to be exhausted and of no use when we get there but we need to be there fast, let's move!" The captain exclaimed before leading the way at a high but steady pace.
