Feeling of distress!

The young incubus was about to dive-in the promised feast in front of him when he suddenly falls to his knees grabbing his head between his hands. It was hard to describe what was happening, he felt an onslaught of emotions, pain, chilling fears, losses, and a feeling of doom was pouring into his mind.

"John! Are you alright, what is wrong?" Asagi exclaimed forgetting her needs at the sight of her prince doubling down in what seemed like pain.

'What is this! What are you doing, Legion!' The incubus asked into his mind but received no answer at first, only this feeling of massive distress. It wasn't his own and he could even tell it wasn't coming from peoples he knew.

'This isn't my doing, kid. I think it hits me worst than you ... Arrrgh!' Legion revealed in a pained voice.

After a while, John was able to lessen the overwhelming feeling and concentrate on finding out what it was and where it was coming from. He could tell it was not so far away and also that it was coming from hundreds if not thousands of peoples, those peoples were in trouble, many of them were dying or in agony. Focusing his mind the young prince arrived at a terrible conclusion.

"Captain, your village is situated north, north-east of us!?" The prince managed between pants.

"Ho-how do you know where it is?" The recovering woman asked suspiciously, for all she knew the young man never even came close to their village so how could he know in which direction it was so precisely.

"Ready your squad, no time to explain but your village is in trouble!." John ordered urgently.

"What? What trouble? How would you know?" The captain asked worriedly and forcefully. The whole situation was making her suspicious, she had met the man only for about half a day and everything seemed to go wrong around him.

"Captain, I can't tell you because I don't know, the only thing I know for sure is that there is a lot of peoples in pain and fear nearby so unless there is another place with that many peoples nearby then your village is the only possible explanation possible." The prince said while putting his armor back on.

Hail wanted to argue and get information out of the young man but the urgency in his voice and movements convinced her to take the warning seriously. A small part of her suspected a ploy to make her bring him to the village faster but she couldn't think of a reason for it. Before leaving the tent to warn her peoples she quickly dressed up and decided to inform them of the course they would take.

"We're going to pass in rough terrain, bring only essentials." Hail said but before she could leave the prince spoke in a commanding tone.

"I'll head out and make my way there as fast as I can. Asagi, you take Link and Mawsie and follow Hail's lead. Once you reach the village the priority is to locate and if necessary evacuate the matriarch. If this is an attack, I'll try to divert their attention to give you time to help her escape." The young strategist ordered without even trying to confirm they would follow it, he finished tightening his armor's straps before bursting out of the tent.

Captain Hail gave a small nod to her counterpart before going to ready her squad .............
