Reconvening with Sarah

....

This next round you are up with Sarah. The two of you make your way upstairs and you just stand there looking at her. She looks around at the hallway, her eyes just taking peeks at all the doors curiously like it's a new environment to her. You take a deep breath before speaking.

"Sarah...."

She flinches a little not expecting it before gulping hard and looks at you properly.

"W-what? What is it?" Her voice is a little hesitant.

"Sarah....I thought the plan was for you to leave." You say and point both of your hands to her.

"Ughh~ I know but just let me stay a little bit longer okay??? I already checked, we don't have school tomorrow as well. And plus your parents said if I waaaaant~ I can stay the niiiight~."

Sarah speaks with a whiney tone that makes your head hurt.

You facepalm and sigh....you deeply regret taking her here.

"Okay, well if that's the case then you can sleep on the couch. We don't have any guest rooms."

"Okieee~ I'm fine with that. The couch is REALLY comfortable." Sarah says putting her hands together as if to thank the gods.

"Good." You simply reply.

It seems she is having a lot of fun here. What a bad guest. Overstaying, overeating, making a mess and now acting like she's good friends with everyone. You can't say she's rubbed you the wrong way, she's yet to make real trouble but you're not so keen on just letting strangers do what they want in your house....Strangers, you guys are strangers by definition right? Yeah you hired her but you know nothing about her.

"Ready!!!!" Ameko shouts again.

"Well that was fast." You comment and turn to Sarah.

Sarah nonchalantly shrugs with a smile.

You both turn to descend the stairs. As Sarah does, her socks slips on the step and she loses her balance. You immediately react, like a bolt of lightning your arm reach around to catch her by the back. Sarah instinctively latches onto you, her body is bent back with quite the scared look on her face.

There is a moment of silence as you stand there with Sarah pinned up against you. Her look of fright turns into surprise and shock. With not a word you slowly let her go and she carefully stands by herself breathing very heavily.

"You okay?" You say without much enthusiasm.

"Yyyy-yeah....ya I'm good. I'm good."

You give her one final look up and down and begin to descend the stairs as she fixes herself, just smoothing down her uniform and fixing her skirt before following. Her demeanor changes briefly as she felt the near miss of an accident.

As you situate yourself on the couch with Sarah you two go through the usual round of Eyecatcher. Sarah struggles to spot anything the first few seconds as you quickly point out that Amelia took off her socks. Unfortunately she gained a point for her team as Kara was the other person to alter their appearance, the one you neglected to memorize much of.
