Wasting little time, Ash got his bag ready. He wasn't completely sure how long it would take for him to become an Officer Jenny. Probably a couple of years. Better to get going now than to wait to tell his mother the good news. Though, that was what phone calls were for.

Thankfully, the walk out of Pallet Town was relatively uneventful. Yes, he didn't have any pokemon on him at the moment. Make the time when he got his growlithe all the more easier. Or at least, that was what he hoped to happen. Still probably be a challenge to actually train them.

Reaching Route 1, the trainer made sure to look about. The last thing he needed to happen was to get jumped by a wild pokemon while he had none on him.

"I'm going to assume you to be Ash Ketchum?" a Jenny called out, Ash's attention shifting to her. Walking over, Officer Jenny grabbed hold of his hand. "I'm here to take you to the academy."
