Reach the village first

The prospect of finally start to level sounded appealing, but after camping out for almost a week now Sae really wanted to sleep in a real bed no matter how much worse it might be from her old world's beds.
The others shared her thoughts, and so they didn't mind spend another day traveling along the road circling the forest in order to reach the village.
Nothing much happened on the way, the road safer than they expected, and by twilight they finally reached what looked like a small forest village...

"Hold your horses, folks. Who are you, and what are you doing here?"
They had sighted the village and were almost there when they heard an agressive female voice's call for them to stop, and turning towards the side of the road they could see a voluptous beauty clad in skimpy armor, spear and shield come out the forest.

Judging from the floppy fluffy ears the dark-skinned beauty must be some kind of beastfolk, and the kind that liked to battle if the temperament she showed was anything to go by... though it was clear she was here to guard the village rather than rob them, and they weren't here to fight so they had no worries about the sudden encounter.

As the one more experienced about such things and as the only seasoned adventurer among the four Samantha stepped forward.
Iriel and Belus too had their adventuring license... but the first used it more as an identification and aside from traveling around she did little adventurer-related business, whereas it had been years since Belus didn't act as one so...
Anyway it was the slutty mage that spoke up "We're adventurers traveling north from Draygro, helping our new recruit" she'd point to Sae "gain some experience before signing up at the guild. We heard someone in the area asked for help, and wanted to rest at this village before looking for the employer"

The woman's ears perked up with interest, her eyes scanning each member of the group before nodding "I see. My name is Isha, and i'm tasked with this village's security. I'm most likely the employer you're talking about"

The group gawked at the sudden revelation, or at least everyone but Samantha did.
Was it so easy? The female mage instead wasn't that surprised and as a seasoned adventurer she already guessed that might be the case.

"Is that so? Then i guess you won't mind showing us to an inn where we can relax while you explain the details of our job"

Isha was about to nod, though she first threw a worried look towards the forest... then she made up her mind, and nodded "Yes, follow me"
