Ranger Rituals

The world was frozen again as Jerry entered into the now familiar Developer Mode. He took his time and gazed at the two beautiful women who sat on the grass before him. Titania was all business, kneeling in her leather boots with her hands in the middle of untying a knot in her net. Milly's face was frozen in a contorted snarl, her glare directed at the elf disdainfully.

Jerry yawned and opened Titania's menu. He saw her stats, her equipment, her biography, her skills... his eyes settled on her list of skills. The menu read

"What are Ranger Rituals," Jerry mused to himself, opening the menu further. Under Ranger Rituals he saw a definition as if the world was answering his question for him.

Ranger Rituals involve a Hunter or Ranger going into a meditative state to commune with the spirits of nature. A simple action or task is performed in a ritualistic way in order to invoke the powers of the natural world. While a Ranger is in this state she is oblivious to the physical world around her. Her mind becomes linked to the Spirit Realm, leaving her **** to attack. Caution is advised.

Jerry scrolled through a brief menu of the rituals. The menu included ritual names, requirements and purposes.

Antivenom - Swaying and hissing - cures poison from self or target - optional, as needed

Ranger Prayer - A soothing song sung at dawn - honors the Earth Mother - mandatory, daily

Tame Beast - Staring into the eyes of an animal - calms and befriends animals - optional, to be used rarely

Nature's Piety - Thanking a kill for its sacrifice - purifies and fortifies fresh meat - mandatory, before consuming meat

Jerry, ever a gentleman and a scholar, thought for awhile about how he could use these sacred rituals to mess with Titania. In no time at all ideas began to come to him. Excitedly, he began to add his own mark.
