Silvia had texted him an address, one that she said he had to visit for things to make sense and to grab more Lotion. He set the address in his GPS and saw that it wasn't too far from his apartment.

He wanted to listen to some music and unwind, but the radio had been hijacked once again by the local news anchor as the beeping noise blared through his car speakers. "This Katy with 98.2 and HNM 5 News. As I am sure ever resident of Lapella county is aware, we are now under military lock down due to expose of the biological agent Lotion X. As we reported earlier today, the effects of the Lotion are quite evident. Today I am joined by the director of the CDC Josh Morgan to discuss their findings. It's good to have you, Director Morgan."

"It's good to be here Katy.", The director replied.

"So obviously our Audience is eager to learn more about the agent and the prevent of spread, what can you tell us?", Katy asked.

"Well, to begin with, the agent seems to have originated from the Novo Nordick factory in Bellington Heights. From there a few vials of an experimental compound were taken from the lab at least two weeks ago. Thanks to Novo Nordick for cooperating with us, they released the trial data and antigen from their animal tests. The bad news is the antigen doesn't seem to work on humans. The reason we called to lock down Lapella county was that the effects of the agent don't fully take effect until at least 13 days after exposure. Considering the progression of spread, the barrier on county lines should be more than enough to contain the outbreak while the antigen is synthesized.", Director Morgan explained.

"So if I am understanding correctly, did Novo Nordick explain a timeline of the symptoms? Is there any preventative measure that residents can take while the antigen is synthesized?", Katy asked.

"As far as preventative measure go, it's important to focus on transmission. Based on the data we've been able to collect, without exposure to the agent, the pandemic can't spread. In other words, without Lotion X making contact with your body, you shouldn't have to worry about incurring any changes. Local enforcement is working on tracking down the stolen chemicals as we speak. once the culprits are apprehended, we shouldn't need to worry about further spread. When it comes to symptoms, the first sign is hairless, specifically masculine hair patterns. Think, facial hair, leg hair and arm hair. That usually occurs within 48 hours of exposure. Next is the growth of breast tissue in both males and females. In males it's more pronounced, in females its much harder to tell. Within a week, the main symptoms should be evident to the eye for both sexes. Their breasts will have reached cumbersome proportions and they will look extremely feminine. Regardless of sex, they'll want to mate with others that have been impacted which is the rationale behind the spread.", Director Morgan explained as clinically as he could.

"I don't suppose there are any other suggestions you might have, are there?", Katy asked, her voice seemed slightly shaken unlike her calm questioning from before.

Director Morgan cleared his throat, "Be very careful around someone that might have been exposed. They seem to have a slightly intoxicating effect. We think it may be linked to pheromones, but we're not entirely sure."

"What do you mean by that?", Katy asked.

"If you get too close, you might get drawn in.", Director Morgan warned.

Katy audibly gulped, "Well you heard it here folks! Make sure to keep travel to a minimum and keep your eye out for anyone that might have been exposed. If you can, report them to the police so they may dispatch a hazmat squad.", She said as she signed off and the music returned.

Ivan just gripped the steering wheel and couldn't help but feel unsettled by the ominous warning.
