"Well, I guess it is sorta my fault..." Rachel said glumly as she eyed the short stick in her hand. "I was the one who suggested this."

"Ha! See?! See?!" Victoria shouted.

"Shut up!" Chloe hissed angrily at Victoria before turning to Rachel. "It's not your fault, Rachel. You just wanted to have some fun tonight."

"Yeah! How could you have known that Arcadia Bay seemed to have a surplus in skunk population?" Max added.

"Thanks, girls." Rachel said with a small smile. "Go easy on the scrubbing, okay?"

"Like I'm lifting a finger with that..." Victoria muttered under her breath.

Rachel took a deep breath before opening the gate slightly and slipping into the backyard, closing it behind her. Eyeing the skunk in front of her, Rachel closed her eyes and walked forward...

The other girls winced as they heard the loud hissing noise, a foul oder filling the air.

"Poor Rachel..." Max said, guilt in her voice as Chloe wrapped an arm around the smaller woman.

"Better her than me." Victoria commented.

Chloe turned and was about to snap at the blonde when the gate opened, Rachel standing in front of them while drenched from head to toe in skunk musk.

"So," Rachel began with a sheepish chuckle, "anyone thirsty? Because I could use some tomato juice right now."

Max and Chloe couldn't help but smile at Rachel's lame joke as Victoria rolled her eyes.
