Quoth the Raven

Regina "Raven" Yost needed money to help pay for college, so she agreed to do a semi-nude photo shoot.

She arrived and found the other amateur models were more of the stereotypical model types: taller and tan and no bangs in their eyes. As they all stripped, Raven saw them smirking at her and she could hear them whispering behind her back. She could not hear exactly what they were saying but she could make out
"pale," and "sun," and "goth."

Raven seethed and held her tongue.

The photo shoot took place, and Raven could tell she was out of place.

After a break, Raven heard more snickering and whispers. "If only those spells worked," she thought as the thought of the spells she and her friends used to read in an old spell book they had ordered from the internet when she was a senior in high school. "I'd teach those bitches a thing or two." She looked at the huddled group and mumbled one of the spells she remembered.
