Quicksand!

As April stepped into the open area her shoes dipped straight into the ground. Without even thinking she took a few more steps forward until she was directly in the middle of the clearing as her shins sank into the forest floor. She could feel mud crawl up her legs as she continued to sink deeper.

"What the-? Quicksand?!" She yelped as she watched with bewilderment as the mud started to creep up her thighs. She twisted and turned, trying to **** her way out of the mud to no avail.
