Quickly explain

Before the soldier could do anything else, Ren quickly apologized, not wanting to take a chance on anything happening from upsetting the warrior. Even though Ren was a noble, he was just a minor noble and his status was still lower than an imperial warrior who could use in strength.

"I apologize please forgive me, I wasn't paying attention". Ren said, he tried to think of as many excuses as he could. "I wouldn't have touched you if I had known". Ren felt like he was on the verge of tears because she had never taken her eyes off him the entire time.

Just as Ren was about to speak again he heard a laugh come from beside him and felt the pressure weighing down on his body dissipate and heard a light voice speak to the soldier in front of him. "You really need to work on that **** glare you have Mia, maybe you could even get yourself a male if you did, but who knows maybe he was just trying to coup a feel". The second female soldier said with a teasing tone in her voice.

"Quiet Emma, no one was asking for your input,". Mia practically barked, shooting a glare toward her companion before looking back towards Ren with a much softer gaze. "You seem to know the empires laws since you're so scared, so you must know the what the punishment could be right?" Mia said, her flat voice not changing the entire time.

When Ren heard this, he could no longer hold the tear that had built up in his eyes. Emma at his side let out a loud snicker. "Nice going you made him cry, maybe he was just trying to ask you out". Emma said, not taking her eye off of Ren the entire time.

Ren quickly tried to explain himself. "But I was just". Ren said but then stopped talking to look between Emma and Mia trying to think of the best thing to say he could ask Emma for help, he could just tell the truth, or he could lie and say he was trying to make a move on Mia.
