Quench Your Thirst

"You know, it's good you showed up. I could use a snack..."

You glare at the nurse as you walk towards her, thirst and anger driving your actions. She opens her mouth to say something but you meet her eyes and feel something within you flare up.

"Don't make a noise, and don't even think about moving." The nurse freezes in place at your command, a look of shock and horror painted on her face. "That's a good girl. Don't worry, this won't hurt...for long."

You expose your jagged fangs with a grin as you grab the paralyzed nurse. You bite into her neck with ease, razor sharp teeth slicing through skin, and her blood pours into your mouth and down your throat. You can't quite put just how good it tastes into words, if you combined every delicious thing you had eaten or drank you don't think it would compare. All you can think of is that you need more of it, sucking it down greedily until the well runs dry. With nothing left to drink you let the nurse's drained corpse drop to the ground, wiping your mouth as you walk away. With the city posed to fall in a matter of days you see no reason to bother hiding the corpse, turning your attention back to the girl when you hear Jenny's voice once again.

Did she taste good? I'm afraid turning a human is a bit of a different experience, though a rewarding one. You'll need to introduce some blood into her while you're draining her, of course our unique biology allows us to do that without having to open any veins.

Will she be like us?

I assume you mean the hybrid nature you and I share? No, that is a blessing only I can share although I am curious if your spawn will have any...quirks. Now, why don't you bring another child into the fold?

There's so much medical equipment that you're unsure about disrupting that you settle for grabbing one of the girl's arms to bite into. You drink from her as well and you're surprised at how much worse her blood tastes, perhaps a side effect of her illness or general poor health. Whatever the cause it certainly makes it easier to pace yourself as you focus on releasing your blood as well and you feel something flow from your teeth and into her like some kind of venom. As you continue the process of replacing her blood with your own you see her veins turn dark, almost pulsing, and you hear the sound of her heart monitor flattening. You unplug the monitor to deafen it while you continue, eventually you watch her skin grow ashen and her physique changes, going from sickly to normal to bombshell.

You remove your mouth from her wrist and begin to remove the equipment attached to her as her transformation finishes, and as you remove the last piece her now red eyes snap open.
