She is Unsure

The girl's eyes trace around the room in confusion as she slowly rises from her bed.

"What happened...?"

"Why you're all better dear, no more illness." She looks at you in confusion before staring at her hands.

"But I still feel weird...cold."

"Oh yes, we had to use experimental techniques to deal with your sickness. There are some side effects but you'll find they're almost entirely beneficial, once you're used to them." She turns her eyes back to you with a curious look.

"Not to be rude but you don't look like a doctor." You laugh in response.

"You could say I'm more of a specialist than a doctor but I suppose I do look a little strange don't I? Of course your mother cares more about results than appearances." Her demeanor changes entirely at the mention of her mother.

"My mother sent you? Is she here, can I see her?"

"I'm afraid as part of the treatment I need to move you somewhere secure but as soon as you're moved we'll get you two in touch. If everything goes well you'll see her in person in a few days." She's conflicted over your words, she seems to realize you're lying to her but st the same time you can feel a connection between the two of you building. It's the reverse of the connection you felt with Jenny. With her you felt subservient, even desperate to please her, but with this girl you feel a desire, almost a need, to dominate and control her. But you also know she might need to be eased into her new life. "Can you tell me your name dear?"

"Miranda...my name is Miranda." She seems swayed enough she doesn't realize how strange you not knowing her name would be.

"Miranda you've been cooped up so long, wouldn't you like to go somewhere else?"

"That does sound nice..."

"Great, let's get you somewhere safe." You take her hand and lead her through the clinic, she seems shocked at moving at a normal pace which makes it easy to pull her along. Eventually you reach an exit with an employee lingering nearby.

He doesn't notice the two of you or seem particularly aware of his surroundings, you could probably slip by. Or you could take the opportunity to get Miranda in touch with her new instincts.
