“Yeeek!”
Dawn let out a gasp of shock as her body grew. Her meager chest began to bloat, pushing out the front of her shirt and lifting it from her midriff. At the same time, the condensed muscles in her thighs that she’d built up since childhood softened and thickened, giving her a round bubble butt that caused her skirt to rise up her waist until it had the functional coverage of a belt. She desperately tried to tug it down to preserve her modesty as she began to freak out.

“Dawn!” Carly gasped in surprise.
“What?” Marley’s eyes bulged.
“I-I don’t know!” Dawn stammered. She turned to Dakota, her eyes burning with fury. “What did you do?!”
Dakota glanced over her shoulder, already headed away. She stopped. “I just gave you what you wanted,” she smirked. “You’ve always felt insecure about that body of yours, isn’t that right? Well, there it is. I gave you Dani’s Soft as Silk transformation so you could see what it’s like to have those feminine curves. Enjoy! It should make your night with Nick… scintillating.”
Dawn blushed. “Um… okay… one thing though…”
She turned to her reflection in the long mirror stretching along the wall.
“…WHY AM I STILL SHORT?!”
Dakota shrugged.
“I dunno. I don’t make the transformations.”
“Dani shrunk to be more ‘feminine’ so why didn’t I grow, huh?!” Dawn screeched. Her tail stood on end and her ears flattened.
“I guess the transformation decided you’re more feminine when you’re short.” Dakota tried to hide her smile, but she didn’t try very hard. Dawn seethed at her.
But in spite of her frustration with her height, her other changes…
She turned to look at herself in the mirror again.
“I have boobs now,” she murmured, reaching up and giving herself a trial squeeze. Her regular breasts weren’t exactly flat, but her boobs were small enough that she didn’t need any support. Just tiny little bumps raised out of her chest.
She had a lot more than bumps now, though. She had more than handfuls, even. Her boobs were still smaller than most of the women in Nick’s harem, but they were close in size to Mary’s before her lactation transformation or even Rose.
On her small frame, they looked even bigger.
“…They’re heavy.” Dawn tucked her arm under her boobs to hold them up. “I mean, I knew they would be heavy, but… they’re heavy.”
Anatomy textbooks didn’t do the real thing justice.
There was another problem.
“My clothes don’t fit anymore,” Dawn scowled, tugging on the hem of her shirt. She was relieved she didn’t enjoy skintight garments, because her breasts were feeling a little suffocated even in her regular-sized top.
Carly couldn’t suppress her smile. “Well, if you want, I could give you an outfit or two to borrow?” She suggested. Dawn appreciated the offer, but…
“…Your clothes won’t fit me.” Not only were Carly’s breasts still bigger than Dawn’s, but she was also taller. If Dawn wanted clothes that fit, she’d need to go buy some from Kim’s boutique. And not only was that a purchase that the pragmatist in her would never make (after all, buying clothes she’d only wear for 24 hours was a complete waste) Kim wasn’t working right now.
“Okay, Kim! We’re gonna start off with something easy!” Dani was speaking to Kim, but she was talking to her own appearance in the mirror. Kim stood awkwardly to the side, dressed in red bloomers and a white shirt, a stereotypical school gym outfit from anime.
“…Do you want to be alone with yourself right now?” She asked, raising her eyebrow.
“Uh… right, sorry,” Dani blushed, scratching her head and smiling sheepishly. “This is… well… it’s been a long time.”
Kim saw tears in the other woman’s eyes.
“S-Sorry, I didn’t mean to cry,” Dani sniffled, wiping her face. “I just… I spent so many years staying in perfect shape, working out, putting everything I had into myself, and it all… it disappeared. I couldn’t… I was starting to forget what I looked like!”
“Dani…” Kim winced.
“It’s fine.” Dani took a few deep breaths to refocus. “Let’s get back on track, shall we? Only got these babies for a little while, you know, gotta make the best of ‘em!”
She walked over to the bench press and began loading weights onto the bar, so eager to get started that she completely forgot that she’d come here to get Kim started on a good routine.
“Wait, Dani!” Kim called out.
“Oh!” Dani gasped, rolling her eyes and chuckling. “Sorry! I was so focused on myself I totally forgot! Yeah, let’s get you started with-”
“No, not that.” Kim pointed at the bench press. “500 pounds? Isn’t that a little…”
Dani blinked. “O-Oh… that’s right.”
She looked down at her arms. They were shiny with oil and hard as rocks, corded muscles that she’d spent years building up.
But they couldn’t lift 500 pounds. Her absolute maximum had topped out at 300, and that had been pushing it.
“Right… I guess, I got so used to my new strength, I forgot…” Dani was a regular human now, without any enhanced physical qualities from her transformation. She slid off most of the weight, leaving her with just 200 pounds to lift. It was a lot, more than most women could lift, but compared to what she was doing just yesterday?
She felt a little bit sad.
Kim could see the doubt flicker across Dani’s face, and cleared her throat. “Um… look, Dani…”
“Wh-what?” Dani snapped back to her, eyes wide. “Sorry, I was… a little lost in thought.”
“No, that’s fine,” Kim said, waving her hand. “It’s just… I know you’re all set in getting me on a training regime or whatever, but… should we really start with weight lifting? I’m not trying to be a bodybuilder, I just want to work off some of this flab.”
She lifted her shirt to show her stomach. No one who looked at Kim would call her fat, she was well within the healthy proportions of a girl her age. If anything, one could argue that she was slightly underweight, due to habitual malnutrition that had only recently started improving.
But compared to girls like Dakota and Morgana who had bodies sculpted into transformed perfection, or figures cultivated with hard work and dedication to look their best like Carly and Rose, she was clearly lacking. Her stomach wasn’t flat as a board, and there was a slight buffer above her hips that foreshadowed a muffin top. Not enough to make her unattractive, just… average.
Kim knew she could do better.
“Okay, I think I getcha,” Dani nodded. “You want to trim your stomach? That means we need to work on your core.”
“My… core?”
“Yeah, it’s the concentration of muscles you have here.” Dani placed her hand on Kim’s stomach, and began to fondle around her belly. “Hmm… hmm…”
“Um…” Kim began to get embarrassed. Dani was touching her quite a bit, and she wasn’t sure how she was supposed to feel about it. She assumed that the other woman was trying to help, but at the same time, her touches felt a little bit… grope-y.
Dani’s face brightened and her hand dropped. “Well! Not bad at all, Kim, not bad at all!”
“Really?” Kim was surprised to hear that.
“Yeah, really,” Dani nodded. “You’re not in that bad of shape. Apparently all those walks have been good for you.”
It could be that. Or it could be the long hours walking back and forth loading lingerie onto shelves for no purpose whatsoever. Kim had lived a rather grueling life in the service industry that while not turning her into a beacon of health, had been strenuous enough to keep her active.
“Yeah, normally there are a few places where people want their fat reduced, at least in my experience,” Dani said, walking around her. “Face, belly, thighs, and butt. Face is fine, thighs, butt, all fine, it’s only your belly we need to work on.”
“So I need to do a lot of sit-ups and crunches?” Kim guessed. She remembered the years of school she’d gone through, where state standards had **** them to do sit-ups, chin-raisers, and the dreaded push-up. Gym was probably one of her least-favorite subjects.
Dani shook her head. “Actually, that’s a myth. A lot of people think ‘oh, if I just do like a hundred sit-ups I’ll get a six pack in no time!’ but see, sit-ups don’t actually burn many calories. Without burning calories, you’re not getting that weight off, you’re just tiring yourself out.”
“So… no sit-ups?” Hope blossomed across Kim’s face. Until Dani shook her head again.
“I didn’t say that. I’m just trying to give you all the information. If you’ve got a ton of belly fat, sit-ups won’t be much help. You’ve got to trim that fat the normal way first, through exercise and hard work. Reduce the overall fat content in your body, and then you can focus on doing things like sit-ups to tighten your core and build your abdominal muscles up.” Dani flashed a smile. “…But luckily, you don’t have much fat on you at all! So we can skip the fat-burning part of our workout routine and get you started on strengthening your core right away!”
“So… yes sit-ups?” Kim sighed.
“That’s a great start!” Dani nodded, flashing her a thumbs up. “But before we get there, let’s head to the treadmill!”
“The treadmill?” Kim didn’t like the sound of that. Dani led her over to the row of treadmills and began to calibrate it.
“We’ll just go for 10 minutes, okay? Just do your own pace.” Dani got on the machine beside Kim, and gave her an encouraging smile. “Try to stay moving the whole time, don’t take a break. It won’t be as effective if you take a break in the middle.”
Kim took a deep breath and turned on the machine, preparing for the worst. She started running at top speed as the machine switched on.
But the worst didn’t come.
“What… that’s it?” Kim slowed down until she was barely even jogging. Even that felt too fast to match the machine’s speed, so she slowed down even more to just some fast walking. “Walking? For ten minutes? Why?”
“Hmm? What, you thought you were… oh!” Dani was actively jogging, her machine had been set a bit higher. “No, weren’t you listening? You don’t need to run or anything like that! This is the warm-up!”
“Warm-up?”
“Yeah! Just a slow ten minute walk to get your body warmed up and limber, ready for the actual exercise!” Dani grinned. “Trust me, you’ll thank me later!”
Kim turned forward and kept walking, but unlike her exercise buddy who seemed to be thrilled with working out, Kim just felt uneasy.
That “you’ll thank me later!” sounded really ominous.
After the ten minutes were up, Kim didn’t even feel winded. In fact, she felt a little wired. “So what next?”
“Next thing we’re gonna do is stretching.” Dani flattened her right arm out over her chest and switched to her left.
“Stretching?” Kim asked.
“Yep. Again, we’re warming up. How much actual strenuous exercise have you done recently?” Dani asked, touching her left toe with her right hand and then reversing to touch her right toe with her left hand.
“Um… none.”
“Exactly. Believe me, if you don’t warm up with some stretches first, your muscles are gonna feel like shit when we’re done. Just put in your best effort, okay?”
She raised her head and flashed a toothy grin. Kim felt herself smiling back. Before today, she hadn’t really hung out with Dani that much, she could hardly remember saying two words to the sporty gal. But she already felt refreshed and relaxed just being in her presence. Dani’s passion was infectious.
Kim mimicked Dani’s warm-ups, which even included some sit-ups. Really? We’re warming up with sit-ups? I thought that would be part of the main exercise, Kim wondered. If Dani wasn’t planning to make her do a hundred reps of those or sets or whatever they were called, what was the plan then?
“Wheew! That was a blast!” Dani wiped the sweat from her forehead. “I feel so PUMPED! Kim, you ready to get onto the main workout?”
“Totally ready,” Kim nodded. “Let’s do this thing!”
“Great. First thing’s first, though-”
“Again?!” Kim couldn’t hold it back. Dani was going to make them do some OTHER warm-up routine? How long was this going to take?
“Relax, it’s fine! I was just talking about water,” Dani chuckled, holding up a plastic water bottle. “We’re going to need to have our water ready to go for this, it’ll be the difference between life and ****!”
There it was again, she was insinuating some really scary shit.
Dani and Kim filled up their water bottles and returned to the mat.
“Now, this is my patented core-tempering exercise,” Dani said, her eyes shining with delight. “I’m so excited! It’s been so long since I had a buddy to work out with!”
“Um… happy to help,” Kim said, smiling.
“It’s by far the best way to tone your core I’ve ever seen, and best of all? We can do it in just ten minutes!”
“You’ve gotta be kidding,” Kim snorted, shaking her head. “Ten minutes? You can get me in good shape in just ten minutes?”
“What? Oh, no, no no no. It’s going to take longer than that,” Dani laughed. “I just mean that the routine is only ten minutes long, that’s all. Since you’re starting out. I can go for a full half-hour easy!”
Kim rolled her eyes. “Come on. I think I can handle exercising for ten minutes. What are we going to do?”
“Have you ever heard of HIIT?” Dani asked.
She shook her head. “No, what’s that?”
“It stands for High Intensity Interval Training,” the tomboy explained. “It’s a way of working out for maximum efficiency of your body.”
Kim perked up at that. Efficiency sounded good.
“So Kim, if you were going to run at top speed, how long do you think you could go before you start getting tired?”
Kim shrugged. She’d never thought of things like that before. “I don’t know. Maybe 30 seconds? A minute?”
“That’s decent,” Dani nodded. “And you’re right, the average person can only perform at maximum intensity. The reason for that is… how can I put this in a way you’d get it… oh, I know! It’s like economics! The law of supply and demand.”
Economics? That was an interesting way to think about it. Kim had never thought of her body in that sense before. And was it just her, or did Dani gain like 50 IQ points out of nowhere?
“We only have so much oxygen in our body. It’s a very precious resource, and our body is trained to use it efficiently to break down fats and carbohydrates to produce,” Dani explained. “For example, on those nature walks you go on, your body is working at its peak efficiency since you’re not stressing it. You’re not increasing your demand for energy by too much, and thus your body can ration out its supply of oxygen the way it was meant to. Make sense? Walking is easy for us, because were built to walk.”
“Yeah, I think I get it,” Kim nodded.
“But then, on the other hand, high intensity workouts demand more energy. When you need to sprint, your body is demanding energy, but it can’t get the oxygen to where it needs to go fast enough. It can’t handle working at such a fast pace, and so you begin to tire out as your energy gets drained faster than your body can meet the demand.”
“So like if I’m working at a grocery store and half the staff calls in sick, I would have to be running around all over the place to fix everything!” Kim was beginning to get the idea. “You’re right, that wouldn’t be very efficient at all.”
“Exactly!” Dani grinned. “But as inefficient as it is for keeping our body going, it’s very efficient for burning those excess carbs! Now, what if I told you there was a way to exploit the intense energy burning system while also taking advantage of our efficient energy rationing system?”
“And that’s HIIT?” Kim clarified.
Dani nodded again. “Yes. HIIT exercises are focused around alternating bursts of intense exercise for a period of time, followed by a period of low-intensity rest to allow our bodies time to recover. This allows us to burn a ton of energy at regular intervals without pushing our system to the breaking point. Sound like a plan?”
Kim wasn’t sure, but Dani sounded like she knew what she was doing. “Whatever works,” she agreed.
“Great!” Dani grinned. “Then let me go over the routine. There are ten activities in total, each taking up a minute. We’ll do jumping jacks, side plank rotations, burpees-”
“Wait, wait, wait,” Kim cut her off. “There is NOT an exercise called burpees.” She laughed at the thought.
“Oh, you bet your ass there is!” Dani laughed. “It’s just like the most efficient way to burn energy! Take a look!”
She started out lying on the mat, then pushed herself up, tucked her legs under her body, and hopped into the air. When she landed she put her hands back on the floor and pushed back her legs, flattening out again.
“That doesn’t seem too hard,” Kim said.
“I like your spirit!” Dani hopped to her feet. “We’ll set the timer for 45 seconds, and in that time, we’ll do as many jumping jacks as possible!”
The jumping jacks were easy enough. Kim was barely winded when the timer went off.
“Break!” Dani grabbed her bottle. “Water time, gotta stay hydrated!”
“Right,” Kim nodded, taking a sip from her water bottle. “So the next one is those side planks, how do those-”
“Break time over!” Dani got on the ground like she was about to do a push-up.
“But that-”
“45 seconds of workout, 15 seconds of rest! Go, go, go!” Dani was demonstrating for Kim just how to do a side plank rotation. From a push-up position she turned her hip, raising her right hand towards the ceiling while maintaining her balance with her other hand. Then she turned and switched hands, lifting her left hand next.
Kim tried her best, she really did. But it hurt like hell.
“Ow, fugaaha…” She couldn’t even gasp out in pain, she just struggled for breath. But she kept going throughout the 45 seconds.
“Whoa! You’re doing great!” Dani took another swig of water as Kim collapsed in front of her gasping for air. Lights began to flash in front of her eyes and she felt like dying.
This was… not what I expected…
“Time’s up!” Dani chirped as the ring of the buzzer brought Kim back to life. “Burpees next!”
Kim couldn’t move. But she moved anyway. Only when she got into the burpee position and began did she realize the true horror of what awaited her.
Dani had a whole regiment planned. Ten whole exercises. Exercises that needed to be completed.
And Kim couldn’t not complete them. Her compulsion wouldn’t let her.
