Rose sat up in bed and stretched. “Pheew… that was a rough day… I’m glad I can finally wear regular clothes again!”

Walking around in underwear and teasing Nick might have been enjoyable way back when. But now that she had real feelings for him, the thought of him looking at her put on display like that made her want to curl up into a ball and disappear.

Dani sat up in bed and stretched. Rose took the opportunity to take a look at her appearance. I lose out in Mary when it comes to being sweet and lovable… but in feminine appeal, I don’t fall short of Dani at least! I can’t compete with her meaty curves, but I’ve got a model’s thinness, and my breasts are at least as…!

It took Rose quite a length of time before she realized she was competing in terms of sex appeal with a lesbian.

“You’re kind of staring at me a lot…”

“Aargh, sorry,” Rose apologized. “It’s just… hey, wait! You were glancing at me out of the corner of your eye all night last night!”

“Well-!” Dani’s blush grew even more intense. “What do you expect?! I worked all morning in an underwear boutique, being taunted by Gina, and then you just come strolling into the bedroom dressed up like a lingerie model! I think it’s okay to allow me a few glances here and there, I needed to recharge my emotional batteries!”

“Yeah, well, same goes for me!” Rose fired back. “I need an emotional recharge to deal with the fact that Nick’s going out on a date with Mary, and that girl’s so sweet he’s probably gonna end up proposing himself! Aagh, this sucks! I shoulda just put my foot down and told her to back off, damn it!”

Dani blinked, surprised by Rose’s outburst.

“Wait… Rose… why are you so upset about Nick and Mary going out on a date together?” She asked, confused.

Rose flinched. “Upset? Who’s upset? I’m not upset!” The blonde’s awkward laughter filled the room. “Who cares if Nick and Mary want to go out together? Certainly not me! I couldn’t care in the least! This is just… you know! The principle of the matter!”

She had no idea what that principle was, exactly, but it felt good to say.

“Oh my gosh! You like Nick! You actually have a crush on him, don’t you!?” Dani might not be good at dealing with her own love life, but when it came to the feelings of the other girls involving Nick she was in full support.

Rose turned red. “N-no! No, I… I don’t!” She wailed.

“Aww, you’re such a tsundere!” Dani giggled.

“No I’m not! And what even is that?!”

“Long story. But come on, you don’t have to lie to me,” Dani said, flashing a smile. “I don’t care if you like him or not.”

Rose realized her heart was beating so fast it might leap out of her chest. She turned around in bed and hung her legs off the side, too embarrassed to face her roommate right now.

“So… so what if I do like him?” She muttered. “It’s not like he’d ever like me that way…”

“Huh? What do you mean?” Dani asked, confused.

Rose turned back to her with tears in the corner of her eyes.

“Look around,” she said, waving her arm. “He’s on a date with Mary right now. That girl isn’t just pretty, but she’s sweet and kind and devoted to him. Then you’ve got girls like Dawn who’s got her brains, and Dakota who’s his childhood friend, Carly and Gina have sex appeal and promiscuity, and then there’s… there’s just me. Sure I’m pretty, but even when I was trying to seduce him he wasn’t all that into it. So even if I do have feelings for him… it doesn’t matter.”

Dani frowned. She thought that Rose was just some superficial bimbo (and to an extent that was true) but the way she was acting now, the lovestruck air about her, and how she’d softened up over the last week had made Dani see her in a new light.

“Rose, do you really like Nick?” She asked. Her tone made it clear that she wasn’t teasing the way she had before; she genuinely wanted to know Rose’s feelings. And now that the cat was out of the bag, Rose had no reason to deny her.

Besides, she had already told Mary in the first place.

Rose nodded.

“I really do… I really do love him,” she admitted. “Wait, LIKE him! Yes, I like him! It’s not love yet, it’s not! Even though he’s the only person who’s ever accepted me for who I am besides my brother, even if he treats me so nicely and sees me for me, it’s not love, it’s just a crush!”

Dani gave her a glassy-eyed smile and nodded, not believing a word.

“That’s nice, Rose. But I think you’re being too hard on yourself,” Dani said, placing her hand on Rose’s shoulder. “Nick’s a great guy. I don’t think you have to worry about him liking you.”

Rose wiped her eyes. “Really?”

“Yeah. Really. See… I get that you want Nick to only have feelings for you, but I think we both know that’s not going to happen, right?”

Rose sighed and nodded. “Yeah, that guy… he really is the worst! Going after so many women at once! And yet… he’s so nice, too… aagh, everything should be telling me to avoid the red flags but my heart won’t listen!”

Dani gave her an exasperated look. “It seems like you’ve completely forgotten that you joined a show called Harem Hotel.”

“Is it my fault I want a little romance!?” Rose snapped.

Dani shook her head. “No, of course not, but you have to realize that comes with its limits, right? Nick might be willing to be romantic with you, but he’s also going to be romantic towards Mary. And Kim. And whoever else wants that kind of connection with him. It’s just something you’ll have to accept, you realize that, right?”

“I know,” Rose sighed, getting up out of bed. She went to go get dressed in something nice. Looking good always took her mind off her troubles. “I suppose that’s the best us ladies can hope for, to become one of the treasured flowers in his garden.”

“Yep,” Dani nodded. She walked over to Rose and punched her fist into her palm. “But hey, if Nick ever treats you bad, just tell me and I’ll pound some sense into him, okay?”

“Yes, I’ll consider that,” Rose tittered. “For now though… I think I’ll just wish him the best on his date today. And the best to you, as well.”

“Huh? What do you mean?” Dani asked, confused.

“Nick slept with Carly again last night,” Rose pointed out. “How do you feel about that?”

Dani froze. A shadow crossed her face. “That… it doesn’t matter,” she muttered, looking down.

Rose frowned. “It doesn’t? And why is that?”

“Carly and I… look, she doesn’t want anything to do with me, okay? And I don’t blame her. After what I did…”

“What you did?” Rose raised her eyebrow. “What you did was keep her safe from elimination by choosing her.”

“Yeah, exactly!” Dani exclaimed. “That’s exactly the problem! Carly didn’t want me to keep her safe, she wanted me to save Mimi! But I didn’t, I chose her, and then Mimi turned into Marley! Why would she ever forgive me for something like that?! If I was in her position… I would hate me, too!”

“But Carly and Marley seem happy together,” Rose protested. “Are you sure you’re not just getting into your own head about this? Maybe if the two of you actually sat down and talked, you could work something out.”

“Why do you even care?” Dani demanded. “You’re probably just trying to do something nice for me so I’ll pick you, right?”

Rose winced, shrinking back from the angered girl like she’d been struck across the face. Dani immediately regretted her words.

“Hey, Rose… no, I didn’t mean that,” she said quickly, shaking her head. “I just… sorry, this is a really sensitive subject for me! I know you’re not trying to be manipulative or anything, I didn’t meant to say that, honest!”

“It’s okay,” Rose said, sniffling a little and then putting on her usual outgoing smile. “I understand. And look, I can’t make you talk to Carly. I just hoped that… if you did, well… maybe you two could stop this weird awkward tension between the two of you. Because having to see that is really stressful.”

Dani sighed. “Look… it’s not like I don’t want to fix things with Carly,” she muttered. “I do, honestly. But if she doesn’t want to forgive me for my choice, that’s up to her. I’m not going to **** the issue onto her.”

Rose nodded. “I guess that’s that, then. Good luck today with Kim, by the way.”

Dani winced. “Ugh, don’t remind me. That’s another thing I have to feel guilty about… well, can’t stay here forever. I gotta get down for breakfast and get energized!”

She squeezed her feminine curves into the closest thing she had for workout equipment, a tank top and some tights. The material clung so tightly to her body it almost looked translucent.

Rose watched Dani head down to breakfast and considered the conversation the two women had just had. A great idea just popped into her head!

When Kim woke up that morning she still felt sore. But not as bad as she’d been the day before, at least. What was really giving her the most trouble were her thighs. Those jump squats had been a killer. But the pain had almost abated by now, and she was ready to get out of bed. She’d woken up a little late, though. Dakota was already gone and the sunlight was streaming in.

She changed into her school uniform and recoiled for a second when she saw her reflection in the mirror.

Oh, yeah, that’s right. I cut my hair. I almost forgot!

It was actually a refreshing change. Her neck felt rather cool as she finished getting dressed, and headed down the elevator, trying not to worry. Today had the makings of a very stressful day. Not only would she have to continue working out with Dani thanks to her compulsion, but she would have to go to work right after it. And that didn’t even factor in that tonight she would be with Nick on the heels of his date with Mary. Nick, who would be filled with intense emotion after such a day, confronting his feelings… and unable to do anything about it.

If he wants to have sex… should I?

Gina bragged so loudly and so often about how much fun it was getting tied up by Nick that Kim had actually gotten curious. Not that she’d ever act on something that gross, of course.

I’m getting ahead of myself, she chastised herself, shaking her head. That’s all way far away. I need to focus on working out!

She entered the banquet hall without thinking, which gave her pause. Did she even want to get breakfast? The last time she’d done that bizarre HIIT stuff from Dani, she’d puked all over the gym. She definitely didn’t want a repeat performance of THAT.

Okay, yeah, that’s not happening. She shook her head, trying to put the tantalizing dishes stacked high in front of her out of her mind. But they looked so good…

Having spent most of her life without a stable supply of good food, Kim had been binging her fill most meals since she’d come to the island. That was part of the reason for that stomach paunch she was killing herself to work off.

So with a heavy heart, she pushed aside her appetite, and approached Dani, who was busy scarfing down a protein-fueled breakfast, much to Kim’s resentment.

Of course, she’s used to hard workouts like this, so she gets to eat however much she wants, Kim thought, glaring a hole into Dani’s back.

“Hey, Kim!” Dani finished off her meal and hopped to her feet. “Want to get an early start? Love it!”

“Yeah, well, if I’m gonna feel like shit, might as well get it over with,” Kim sighed, and the two girls headed off towards the gym. But when they reached the door, Dani froze.

Carly and Marley had just walked in. Carly was wearing a new outfit, one of her skimpiest ones yet. It was little more than a towel wrapped around her body, keeping her curves under control but otherwise looking very arousing.

Neither woman said anything to the other even when their eyes met. They just turned and went their separate ways. Kim caught the sad and disappointed expression on Marley’s face, and she also caught the way the shy girl was limping.

Wait… Nick must have had sex with her last night, too! She realized. That’s… whoa. I didn’t see that one coming.

So Nick had a threesome with twins. She wasn’t even attracted to Carly and she still felt like giving him a pat on the back. She also felt really jealous.

But those feelings would have to wait. Right now Nick was having the time of his life on a date with Mary, most likely, and she was heading to the **** chamber.

At least, that’s how things seemed from her perspective. She felt like she was being walked to the executioner’s platform with each step.

They got there way too damn fast for her liking.

“Okay, Kim!” Dani turned to her with a smile on her face. “You ready to go?”

Kim sighed and nodded reluctantly. If she had to, she had to. And she had to. There was no turning back now, unfortunately, not thanks to her stupid transformation.

“…Also, are you going to exercise in that?” Dani pointed at Kim’s outfit. “What happened to your gym clothes?”

Kim turned bright red. She’d completely forgotten! But it wasn’t like she could just go back to her room and change, her transformation was compelling her to finish up first.

“Let’s just get this over with,” she muttered. Her soreness from before was starting to act up on her again, and she feared that if she didn’t get started soon it would only get worse.

“Sounds good!” Dani said, flashing a grin. “Same training regiment as last time! Let’s just get those warm-ups out of the way…”

While Dani and Kim worked out, Kim was actually surprised. Things weren’t as bad as she thought! She could actually move quite well, which was good. She still ached in certain places but it felt like she had a lot more stamina than the last time.

Of course, she couldn’t compete with Dani. But Dani had her own problems to deal with herself.

“The extra strength is one thing… but these boobs… damn it!” Dani was doing burpees, and her massive rack was getting in the way. She kept almost squashing them. It wasn’t her fault, HIIT wasn’t part of her usual workout!

And then there were the push-ups, and the commandos. All the different exercises that required her getting her chest close to the ground, or god forbid, jumping, ended up getting incredibly messed up by her bouncing boobs.

So the results by the end of their workout were actually quite a flip. Dani was irritated and frustrated, and Kim… actually felt pretty good.

“I’m amazed…” She gasped, staring up at the ceiling. She actually managed to finish the routine without feeling sick to her stomach! Sure, her soreness had returned, but even then it didn’t compare with how much pain she’d been in yesterday.

“Your body’s already getting used to this much workout,” Dani explained, turning over on her side. “It usually doesn’t take long to get into a good rhythm, but I must say, this is the first time I’ve seen someone adapt this fast! Maybe you’ve really got a knack for this exercise stuff!”

“I’ve always been good at… picking things up fast…” Kim panted. “Guess it’s why I was able to do so well at so many jobs… ‘course, my legs are still numb…”

“Yeah, they’ll do that,” Dani said, wincing sympathetically. “It’s okay, you’ll get the feeling back soon enough. Let’s just rest here for a little.”

Of course, Dani’s legs were perfectly fine, so she walked over to get some bottled water for them to share. She passed it to Kim, who accepted it gratefully.

“Thanks,” the aspiring tomboy said, taking a sip. It tasted like the best thing she’d ever had to drink.

After a few more minutes, Kim got the feeling back in her legs, and Dani helped her up to her feet. Her face swelled with pride.

“You did amazing today!” She gushed. “Heck, at this rate, in a couple days you won’t even have to worry about feeling your legs give out next time!”

“You say that, but I’m still sore all over,” Kim griped, trying to ignore the ache in her arms and stomach. “Can we call it quits now? I want to go take a bath.”

That’s what she was looking forward to the most that hot spring last time had been the perfect remedy for her ails, and she was looking forward to it again. She could already feel the warm water soothing her tired body.

“Sounds like a plan! But I’m not paying for you this time,” Dani said.

Kim rolled her eyes. At least she had the money to burn, not that she wanted to. No avoiding it though, those warm waters were addicting!

The two girls headed to the hot spring, only to encounter something interesting.

“A price change?” Kim gasped, looking at the sign posted.

“Yes,” the blue-haired faerie running the hot spring nodded. “Orders from on-high. A private dip will still cost you 500 BP, but if you’d rather have a public bath, you get one free hour a day! Of course, anyone can join, even the master if he wishes!”

The faerie winked at the two girls, and they glanced at each other.

“Must be Sylvia’s doing,” Kim said. “A small bit of mercy, perhaps, since I’m being compelled to do all this exercise?”

“Nah, not a chance,” Dani said, shaking her head. “She probably just wants to engineer more erotic situations with Nick I bet.”

Kim nodded. She could see that.

“Of course, Nick’s with Mary right now, and there’s no way that those two would go anywhere near a public bath together,” Kim pointed out, cracking a sly grin.

“Good thinking!” Dani punched the air. “So it’s open season!”

The two girls rushed into the bath, as fast as their tired bodies would allow.

Kim sighed in relief as she sank into the water. This was just what she wanted.

I hope Nick’s having as much fun on his date as I am in this bath, she thought. Good luck, Mary, I’m sure he’s gonna say yes!
