Push Deeper

You place your hand on your mother's cervix. You feel a shudder as your mother's body shakes. You press your hand into the opening and it slips in, you feel the muscle contracting around your wrist. You press your second hand in, the muscle squeezing around the two of them but you push back. Her opening becomes wider as you stretch it and you're able to get your head in. You get the first glimpse of your mother's womb, since before you were born; a phase that has new meaning now. There is a dark red light from the light outside filtered through your mother's body. It's roomy and spongy and you see the two fallopian tubes branching off, a little ways off.

After a few minutes, you are able to wiggle all of your body all the way in. The cervix closes up behind you, it seems you might be stuck here for the moment.
