Pulling The Fire Alarm

Yulia chuckles to herself, "Ha... You know I'm proud of you. She pulls the pin and tosses it into the center of the room, screaming just as it lands, "The Rack is here!"

A bunch of the Naga and Lamia react with confusion, glancing around just in time for the grenade to go off. Screams of panic and pain erupt from the assembled masses and Yulia watches the blinded creatures scrambling to try and get away, some bumping into each other in their panic all of them quickly forgetting their partners.

In the chaos Yulia casts energize on Lri and Sally, feeling a rush of strange sensation as the spell is cast. Sally is quick to recover and uses her energized state to quickly move through the chaos, grabbing Maple and getting her to safety, coincidentally near where Yulia is cloaked. The rest of the group is slowly recovering from their own surprise and panic and the exhaustion of their predicament.

The chaos is ending however and what Snakes haven't fled the room are realizing there's no danger as their vision is returned.

When everything settles, there are six snakes left in the room, Four Naga and two Lamia. All of Yulia's friends have recovered and retreated to the edges of the room except Cherchiel. Cherchiel, who had been tossed off the Naga she was riding during the panic, is sitting dumbstruck on the floor, looking lost and confused.

"What the fuck happened?" one of the remaining Naga, the one who had been fucking Sally, asked looking first at the other snakes then at Yulia's friends arrayed defensively around the room.
