After getting his chin healed, Proten was so angry that he wanted to kill Mǎ Fáng, but the other judges came in to defend Mǎ Fáng, asking how he made such a dharma tool. Since Mǎ Fáng wasn't sure if he would get in, he told them he didn't know, instantly getting dropped and abandoned as the rest checked up on Proten, leaving only Mǎ Fáng's women to console him.
After things had settled down for a second, Proten then put on a cold gaze that suppressed Mǎ Fáng's soul, making it hard to breathe as he was close to passing out. In this state, Proten made it clear that the sect would never accept a miscreant like Mǎ Fáng, casting him out while they were feeling generous. The women then threatened to leave with him, but Mǎ Fáng told them to hold themselves, telling them to grow first before making any rash decisions, reassuring them that he would be back for them, using the rest of his points to duplicate Kōngxīn sǐ's dharma tool and improve the endurance of these devices so they wouldn't break easily.
The women didn't wanna stay without him, but after he made copies for each of the women and Kōngxīn sǐ linked the coordinates of the dharma tool to a safe space that doubled as a panic room within her void mansion, they calmed down, promising to get transmission tablets (jade turned into basic phones only able to call) that they would link to his phone and antenna inside the room.
Mǎ Fáng thanked them for their care, promising to stay alive as he made them promise to call him if they were in any trouble, leaving after giving Proten a gaze that shot daggers.
