Project: Stardust

The **** Star, the personal pet-project of Darth Sidious meant to inspire fear across the Galaxy when he took over. The construction had begun shortly after the beginning of the Clone Wars and by the time of the Rise of the Empire, the sub-structure itself was almost complete.

It would've taken another 19-20 years for the station to be complete and fully operational. That is, if Darth Vader had not killed his Master and assumed the role of Emperor with his wife at his side.

One of his first acts as Emperor had been to put a stop to the project and order all copies of the plans to be destroyed. When the lead scientist, Doctor Galen Erso had been brought before him and informed of the cancellation of the project, the man had been relieved having originally believed that it just a large space station rather than the planet killer it was intended.

Erso had been so horrified that he had been prepared to flee with his wife and daughter, only for Palpatine to accidently chop his own head off with a lightsaber while cutting his hair and Skywalker to take over.

However, Erso wasn't aware that there was an incomplete copy of the plans at a facility on Scariff. So, when his former friend Krennic - who had defected after the **** Star was ended - informed the Rebels of the project, they sent an elite team to steal them.

Or at least as elite as the Rebellion under the command of Bail Organa could be.

It did not take long for the Empire to figure out what the Rebels were after, and even though the plans in question were barely half of the whole project from its earliest stage, they still responded in **** to the Rebels sending almost their entire fleet to get said plans.

The squad, led by Cassian Andor were able to send the plans to the command ship but were still quickly captured the stationed troops, who were all eager to get the special reward system on offer from the higher ups.

Despite the intervention of Ahsoka, Rey and Leia - all dressed in their black and revealing Inquisitors uniforms - even they were unable to stop the Tantive IV - a ship which Bail had once claimed was 'stolen by Rebel insurgents' - from escaping.

As the three Inquisiwhores chased the Tantive on their Star Destroyer, they soon came to be in orbit of the planet of Tatooine.
