Prime Directive

There's a few scattered sounds of enthusiasm from the group as they wake up, except Maple who suddenly approaches Yulia and stops right in front of her, "you... I..." she's clearly angry, but seemingly unable to process the feelings at the moment. Yulia speaks,

"I'm sorry... The voices at least some of them are sorry too, we felt there was no better option," she apologizes and Maple says nothing, simply standing there and then merely huffs.

"If you ever do something like that to me again, I'm done... If I wanted someone who'd just 'do what's best for me' without my consent I'd just let Sally put me back in stasis!" she yells and then turns away. Yulia feels bad, Maple has every right to be angry, but Yulia tells herself it was the right choice and besides she still trusts the voices that they would have considered any other options so it had to be the only choice.

She casts a quick identify on the milk and is informed the milk will stay unspoiled thanks to tower magic essentially.

"Alright... Let's go destroy the Directive!" Yulia says with as much enthusiasm as she can muster and the train heads to the punitive terminal. They exit and head to the prison. Entering the prison they find that many of the cells have been refilled already.

"Efficient," Cherchiel notes as she looks into one of the cells.

"Most of the people of Iralia aren't fighters. There was no chance they were going to last long, but luckily they also aren't in danger and they're still a distraction, most likely they're the reason the Directive hasn't been hounding us during the whole hospital thing," Maple notes she still sounds angry, but she's at least still being helpful.

"Should we bother releasing them again?" Yulia asks.

"I mean it won't hurt, but it also won't likely help. Once the Directive is dealt with they won't be much of a distraction for Sally. She's smart enough to realize they don't matter and she'll keep her focus on us," Maple answers.

"We'll free them when we're done here then," Yulia decides

With that decided they head to the door labelled Directive and enter. The inside is a large circular chamber. A computer column sits in the middle of the chamber with a console around it's base. A screen on the tower lights up and displays text, "welcome, chosen," it displays and Yulia glances around the room.

"Is this it? No turrets? I don't see any other machines guarding you, are we really just gonna have to break this thing and we're done?" she asks and the screen display changes.

"Perhaps we can talk about this?" it says.

"No... I think we'll just destroy you," Yulia says taking a step forward and raising her rifle.

"Your loss..." the screen displays and then a crossbow bolt suddenly launches from above knocking the rifle out of Yulia's hands, the bolt is tipped with a barbed and quite deadly looking pointed head. Looking up something that had at first appeared to be part of the tower, detaches itself and drops to the ground in front of Yulia. It lands in a superhero landing pose and then slowly stands up. It appears to be a woman, wearing a black motorcycle style helmet with tinted visor, a thick latex bodysuit over a curvaceous form. In each hand it holds a hand crossbow and as they watch two more pairs of arms extend from behind it, the top pair wielding a pair of energy swords and the bottom pair holding a large riot style shield.

Yulia grabs her rifle and backs away from the figure casting identify as she does so.

"The Huntress, the Directive's primary weapon against law breakers and intruders. A machine designed to be faster, stronger and more deadly than any others. Sally has forcefully restricted the Directive's use of this machine to only be a last resort weapon due to it's lethal nature. Its hand bows are actually a form of miniature rail gun that fire crossbow bolts with the **** and power of a bullet, letting it easily puncture most forms of armor or shield, its swords are capable of cutting through most things with ease and it's shield can block most energy weapons and basic projectiles. That being said it's increased agility comes with some drawbacks, it is made more agile than other machines by stripping away a lot of what makes them durable, removing it's resistance to physical damage, immunity to heat and cold and it's absorption of electrical attacks. It's latex outfit and helmet do provide some minimal armor though and give it limited protection from all of those things though to a much lesser degree than it's machine fellows.

"Okay... It has a protector... We just have to get past this machine and then the Directive is no more," Yulia says as the Huntress raises her hand bows and brings it's shield up to protect it's torso. It's upper hands twirling the energy swords as it waits for Yulia and her friends to make the first move.
