Abruptly awaken.

Wham! You jump as a loud noise jostles you up. Quickly, you look around to see Yiiv standing over the table with a device that almost looks like a small 3D printer. The lines under her eyes are even darker than before, and while her eyes are crimson, the whites are not meant to be.

"It's done!" she shouts.

Lithvir rises up from her blanket and rubs her eyes. "Sweetie. Did you sleep at all last night?"

"Todd, you gotta try it out. Please. I'll show you exactly how it works too. See all you do is hook up the YiivCam, put some kind of parchment of paper or something here, choose how large you need the imagine, hit this switch, and bam! It'll take the image you want and transplant it directly onto the paper. It's actually quite brilliant if I do say so myself. See, it uses light and then it--"

You both stare at the sunheart who has gone strangely quiet.

Then, she falls over like a tree for timber. Quickly, you lunge forward and catch her before she slams against the ground, and you gently lower her down instead. She's completely out cold--asleep.

"Oh dear," the elf mutters.

"Well, I guess I'll try it while she sleeps." You look the machine over. It's similar yet vastly different to anything you've seen before. It isn't electricity, circuitry, or anything like that powering this device, but magic instead. There are crystals and symbols and all sorts of things you can barely understand. However, with her basic explanation and some time, you feel like you've figured it out.

With the camera attached, you put in a slip of white paper, adjust it, and then...

Voom! There's a flash of light. Then you carefully reach in and pull the paper out, and stare at it in awe. Though the quality isn't on par with modern Earth technology, it's right before your eyes. Teeka, also known as Sweet Bun, is standing in a playfully sexy pose, and though you're not trying to toot your own horn, it's framed incredibly well given what you had to work with.

"That is amazing!" says Lithvir. "It is as if you captured the girl and trapped her within the paper. I finally understand. People will certainly pay for this, because it is not only faster to produce than a painting, but it also looks as real as possible."

And the fact that it's cute girl with a cute body in a cute outfit, but yeah. "Are you ready to be a merchant today, Ms. Lithvir? I don't have any money to invest in a stand or anything, but..."

"I will help! Allow me to hold them while you do your thing."

"Thank you. Let's do some business," you say. You push forward your fist, but she wraps her hand around it.

Sabariel tilts her head.

"Oh. It's a thing from Earth," you say. "You bump your fists together."

"I understand!" She giggles and does as she's instructed. "How fun."
