Grace and I had never wandered into the topic of sex in all our years of conversation. It was just an unspoken rule. It was off-limits. But we were knocking at that door right now. “It's OK. You can tell me. Is domination your thing?”
I thought she would brush me off or change the topic. But instead she immediately answered. “No, I don't think so. I'm curious to maybe try it, but only with someone I really trust, and I just haven't gotten there with any guys yet.” As soon as she finished, she blushed bright red and looked away.
Wait a minute... I had – I had told her to tell me. And she did. Another test was necessary.
“So, Grace, speaking of... all that,” (dammit, I was so awkward about this!) “how is your sex life with Henri?”
“Ronald Rivers! How dare you!”
Oops. Got to watch my wording. “Tell me about it, Grace. Answer my questions.”
Grace froze for a second. Then started speaking. “It's fine, I guess. Not bad but not great. He's nice and has a good future, and he's fun to be with, and all of that is more important, I think.” Her face went impossibly more red than before.
“Do you cum when you have sex with Henri?”
“No, I don't. I usually get myself off afterwards, but not when he's around, because I don't want him to feel bad.”

“How can it do that?”
“I don't know, but so far, that seems to be the case. Do you trust me to run a few experiments?”
