How do Jess and Erin know each other?

"How do you two know each other?" You actually have another question, but you're genuinely curious about how this diabolical duo got teamed up in the first place.

Jess and Erin share a look and silent communication. Erin answers, "Jess is from the same region, outside the city I grew up in. We have... mutual interests. That's all you need to know."

Jess adds in: "I knew I had wanted to come to this school when Miss Erin enrolled three years ago."

When you first met Jess, she had a Southern accent. Fake, obviously, as was her whole personality. But it fooled you, Jess is an experienced liar, an aspiring actress maybe?

But just now, and even earlier. There was something in her voice, a few choices of her words that didn't sound... natural.
