Chapter 27 by Delta77 Delta77

Do you risk it or just play safe?

Risk it

You decide to risk it, if it fails you may lose the advantage but that didn’t mean you can’t get it back.

You did not activate your field card.

Phase 2: Emma played an action card, nothing special it just made her 700 tornade into a 900 strength typhoon.

You had some buffs of your own but none of them targeted arcane creatures specifically and were a lot less powerfull because of it. Overcoming a 600 strength difference. This was the first time you looked at your health. Luckily it was the standard 1000LP, so if you took 300 damage now you would have 12 turns before losing. Which didn’t seem bad right now but can quickly become a problem if not dealt with.

Phase 3: you decide to skip this phase, activating the field card would not help you at the moment.

Phase 4: you look at the action cards in your hand, you only had 1 option: mage’s hand, it was unique to your creature and allowed you to move an enemy creature to a different field card, it would maintain all of its strength however.on top of that you had nowhere to put it where you could defeat it so you would need to place it with one of Emma’s minions. Which would make those 2 minions nearly impossible to kill. And considering both of her minions had an elemental affinity she was only 1 away from activating her boost.

You now had 2 options

1) let Emma win the fight and conquer the field. This would put you on a timer which would put a real strain on your late game strategy.

2) use mage’s hand to move Emma’s tornado with the golem, this would be really hard to deal with but didn’t threaten you immediatly. Losing mage’s hand so early would be devestating however.

How will you get out of this?
