The minister on your right rubs his pinches and rubs his eyes with two fingers annoyed with your boldness. "Mavis has not sent men to battle in fifteen years, you must have 500 decent warriors, tops."

"And that is plenty sir. Please let me prove it to you. And if I fail, it'll take less than a month for my squad to get wiped out. You'll still be able to send Takerbell save the day."

Tupac then answered "I know, that's why I'm glad you took that decision. The people of Mavis are already inclined to be loyal to you because of your name but the other soldiers don't know you at all. At the first hardships and threats they'll disobey, break formation or desert the battle. It was going to be a fiasco from start to end."

"Instead, I'll increase my people's loyalty by letting them see with their own eyes myself lead a campaign. Loyalty in your turf is worth 10 times recognition in this palace halls."

"And when the nobles hear about how you managed to take Rusistis' head in a month with half a thousand soldiers, they'll be **** to recognise your talent."
