Plans and a Gem

Jodie looked at her face again and thought how she could too resist fixing her makeup. She had gone most of her life without it, the makeup was just part of her disguise and helped her feel pretty. She didn't need it. The thought of the disguise reminded her she had a part to play and pouted. Placing one hand in her stomach she made eye contact with Adam. With that justification she went back into the bathroom to fix her makeup and stare more at the new piece of jewelry, and change out her earrings. No way could she wear a gold necklace and silver earrings.
