Chapter 3

Can Ash break free? Wait awaits her outside the sack?
[GM] A bandit!
The bag tore with ease, and Ash, being upside-down, dropped right out of it. She hit the ground a lot sooner than she expected, landing on the grassy floor with a thunk and sprawling on the ground in a tangle of limbs.
She looked up to see her captor, though she didn't have to look far. A muscular dwarf with a dirty brown beard was staring down at her, frowning as he bared his yellowing teeth. "Ah bloody 'ell, we got a live one lads!"
He ditched the sack and drew his iron mace. "Come along good now lass, I dinnae wanna hav' ta break ye. Well, not yet, anyway." He chuckled sinisterly and swung his mace down at her.
She was able to roll out of the way, and even got to her feet in the same graceful move. This was one hell of a wakeup, but if there's one thing she could do, it was dole out her own dose of hell right back.
She cracked her knuckles, readying herself for a fight.
[GM] Roll STRENGTH.
[P] 7 + 7 + 0 = 14
[GM] You are able to tear a wide hold in the sack. You drop to the ground beneath a mean-looking dwarf dressed in light leather armour. You are in a forest. It's night, and cloudy, so there is very little light.
[GM] The dwarf drops the broken sack and draws his iron mace. His mace is pretty crude, so has a 0 modifier to his attacks. He swings it down at you.
[GM] 2 + 3 + 0 + 4 = 9
[GM] Roll QUICKNESS.
[P] 20 + 3 + 0 = 23
[GM] You easily get out of the way, and even manage to get back to your feet.
[GM] You gain 25 XP
Ready for an ass-whooping, dwarf?

IMPREGNATAR | ANARCHY
A FREEFORM GAME OF SURVIVAL AND IMPREGNATION
An anarchy variant of IMPREGNATAR. While the original had a set handful of GMs, a canon timeline and balanced encounters, this version does away with balance by allowing anyone to GM any posts, including their own. This is an interactive survival story that's like a combination of D&D, Dark Souls, and Zelda. Your character awakens spawned into the middle of an unfamiliar forest. They have little memory of who they are or how they got there, and all but the faintest of survival assets. Post by post they will explore their surroundings hoping to gain skills, level up, and survive by avoiding any Bad End scenarios with a horrific (and probably kinky) fate. Or, in this case, probably experience as many Bad Ends as possible as they traverse multiple timelines.
