My head was spinning as I tried to paint a clear picture of what I had seen, but a single detail served as the anchor that would allow me to think rationally again. The real Friendly Paws, not the perversion of her image that we had encountered, had asked me to keep her body safe. If I couldn’t do anything else to make things better for her, then I would have to do that for the time being. And if someone was looking for us, then the worst place to hide would be where we stood right now.

I went to the bedroom to wake up Regina, but I found her lying with her head upside down at the end of my bed. She must have been awake for a while, and bored of waiting for me. “You know, I don’t actually know for sure if you slept here yesterday. It wouldn’t be totally crazy for me to ask if people in this dimension sleep in their beds or if they’re only used to have a soft place in which to have sex on.”

“Yes, we do. And we don’t have time for this. I need your help to brainstorm ideas on where to go.” I sat next to her, staring straight at my closet and considering if I was going to be okay with all its contents potentially ending up at the dumpster.

“Oh, we’re already at the part where you get bored of your first idea for the ring?” She asked as she lifted her head up. “A little quicker than expected, but if you want to leave the whole heroine thing behind, then I-”

“No, I meant that we have to leave my apartment behind because it's too risky for us to stay here. But we need to find somewhere in which we can establish a base, safeguard Friendly, and plan an ambush on whoever’s being sent after us.” I corrected her as I kept staring, finally deciding that it was selfish of me to endanger us by taking anything that would make this look pre-planned. I would just have to pick my favorite clothes with which I could have believably disappeared on the street.

“Yeah, I’m going to need a better explanation than that, my master.” She crossed her arms over her breasts, but their large size meant that I could still look at her nipples below them.

“If the ‘my master’ meant to butter me up and make me talk?” She had my interest.

“Depends, does it work? My master?” She asks without needing me to answer. I’ll pretend that this is thanks to her being an expert with millennia of experience under her belt, and not because I’m an obvious glutton for having someone look up at me in any manner.

I coughed into my hand. “What happened is that I learnt something good and something bad. The good thing is that Friendly Paws didn’t attack us out of her own free will, but rather, she did it due to being under the influence of someone’s mind control. The bad thing is that whoever that is, she seems to know about me and possibly about the ring. The even worse thing is that she’s sending someone to get FP back and take care of me.” I gave her the condensed version of the trip I had gone on last night. “And considering that our current record is ‘failed to deal with a tiger, succeeded against a common thief, and got the flukeiest of wins against a real heroine’, then it’s better for us to not face whoever’s next head-on.”

She nodded. “Yeah, that seems like what a smart person would do in a moment like this. I suppose that we can’t move too far away either? Because then we could be risking getting picked off in the middle of the road as we escape from this place.” She added, giving me something new to think about.

“I hadn’t considered that, honestly. I want to stay in the city, if possible, but that’s mainly because if someone could do this to Friendly, there’s no telling who else might be affected. For all we know, everyone in Legendary could be under their thumb. That, or maybe she really was the best they had. We need to learn more, and the city will need someone who can be trusted to fight for what’s right.” I told her, convincing myself that I could be that defender as the words left my mouth.

“Nice sentiment, but where are we actually going to spend the night at? Because I only know three people here, one of them stabbed me, and another one is telling me that she wants to find a place where we can hide.” She shrugged. “Sorry master, not sure how much I can help you with this.”

“Don’t apologize, you’ve just helped me remember something. The third person is Rose, right?” She nodded, likely wondering where I was going with this. “And she was a thief, who told us about how the people ‘where she’s from’ are asinine about being at a place at the right time and stuff. Not that I want to get stereotypical, but I’m pretty sure that this means that she’s connected to other people in the criminal underworld. People who are used to evading search parties, and who likely have a place to ‘lend’ to someone who needs to hide and can offer some compensation.” I concluded, feeling quite pleased with myself over what I had noticed.

“You want us to hide in a trap house?” Regina seemed worryingly excited over the idea. I had no idea if **** could affect someone like her. But the look on her face told me that she has used them before, and that she’s likely experienced all of the highs with none of the lows. Lucky her.

“We are still working under the hypothetical that she’s connected with other criminals, but even if we’re right on that, we don’t know if they would be **** dealers. And suppose they’re **** dealers, why would they hide us at their ‘business place’?” I thought for a moment about what I had just suggested. “Sweet mercy, three days into knowing you and I already feel like a completely different person.”

“You say it like it is a bad thing.” She approached me for a hug. “Sure, you’ve had a pair of crazy days. But you can’t deny that this must already be one of the most exciting and intense weeks of your entire life. And would you really prefer to not have bumped into pretty ol’ me?” She puckered out her lips, asking me for a reprisal of last night. Who was I to deny her?

Of course, I couldn’t kiss her to sleep this time, I had to control myself. Five seconds of bliss seemed appropriate, it let me savour her taste without giving her an excuse to not contribute to the evacuation planning. I kept my eyes open the entire time, liking to see how her face turned silly while orgasming. “Come on, you don’t have to be a pain in our ass about it. We already told you that it was self-defense. And she’s not dead, just knocked out. We assumed she wanted a threesome, how were we meant to know it would end up like this?” Regina walked behind her, and cupped her massive breasts. “And do you really want us to believe that you can stay mad at your big-tiddy-sister?”

“If I end up in jail because I helped you two hide the corpse of a celebrity-cop, I think I will.” While she rolled her eyes, Rose made no attempt to stop the breast massage she was receiving.

I can’t imagine what that must feel like.” Rose stared at me unblinkingly, until Regina’s handy work managed to get a moan out of her. “Ah, that hit the spot” Her mood improved. “Sorry, being woken up early and having responsibilities dumped on my plate makes me cranky.”

“I understand. And sorry for what happened that day.” I offered my apology, hoping it would be accepted.

“No need to, the boobs were your apology for that. I was just being a bitch due to the other stuff.” She admitted with a shrug of her shoulders. As Regina finished the groping of the breasts, Rose seemed to have already figured out where to take us. “We’re going to need somewhere with four or more mattresses. I’ll have to go with you if we want anyone to let you stay at their place, especially with who we’re hiding. And I’m not convinced this will be the only non-corpse we’ll have to hide.” Her mouth warped, and I couldn’t tell for sure if she was annoyed or amused. “Mark and Shayna it is, then. Let’s hope they forgot about last time.”

“We’re staying with someone?” I asked, surprised.

“No one I know can really afford to have a place and not use it. Theirs is on the outskirts of the city, and they’re dumb enough to let something this risky happen under their roof.” She explained. “Oh, and they’ll be cheap. Mark will do anything for someone willing to shake his dick around, and Shayna doesn’t mind any lady that lets her stick her fingers in their ass.”

“I think I like them already!” Regina beamed.

Rose laughed. “Had a feeling you would. So, are we dumping the cat in the back of my car and going there already?”

“Sure” I faked enthusiasm. I could already picture how runned down that place would be from what Rose was telling me, but it couldn’t be that bad if people actively lived in it. Right?
