Rebecca's scream

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

You look at the front door, only to see Rebecca standing there. It was her voice that screamed, but she doesn't seem to have been attacked. You put down your coffee quickly, running to find out what's wrong. She just looks at the door, confused. As you get there, you see what caused the scream.

The door no longer leads to the hall outside your apartment. Instead it leads to... a stairwell, seemingly built out of black glass. Glass sconces line the stairway, lighting the way, leading down into the unknown.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Rebecca screams, her words just as confused as the first time. You don't know what to say either. You look at the dark foreboding staircase, unsure what is happening. Although you know what is responsible. The app.

You struggle to think of something to say. You decide on the one thing that makes sense. "Calm down. Calm down." Your hand goes to her shoulder, as you interpose yourself between her and the door. You shake your head. "What in the world?" Your hand rubs along the glass, finding it smooth, cool to the touch.

"What happened?" Sephora is the first one out, wearing her loose shirt and pajama pants. Olivia and Erica soon follow, both also wearing their pajamas. Olivia wears a long shirt/gown that goes to her knees, while Erica wears a light shirt and shorts that go to her knee.

You point toward the dark staircase, as each of them looks at it. We all look at it, stupefied.
