Alexa, what time is it?

In this story, a scientist invents a device which lets them control themselves or other people by simply saying the well-known activation word of a particular voice assistant, e.g. Alexa. How will they use it, or will they be the one getting used?

It was a rainy Friday afternoon. The small workshop was buzzing with the humming of a soldering iron. At least until it suddenly stopped.

"Heureka! If it were done when ’tis done!" the voice of our protagonist could be heard.
