Alone with Kiara

It has been a long time since I’ve last had a nightmare. Unfortunately, tonight it happens again. It is much different from how they usually went. This time I am tied to a bed and dove is fucking me. I then tell Kiara about the nightmare I had.

“Right then.” Kiara says. “Let’s hope it doesn’t stick around.”

Indeed. I’ve already had my share of recurring nightmares. I don’t quite feel like getting back into that.

I then get out of bed and grab the sheet next to my bed to cover myself. Only after I put it on do I realize there might have been a moment where Kiara could have seen my exposed butt. Once I’m dressed, I head to the inn’s dining area. There I find Kiara at a table talking with the innkeeper.

I join the both of them and soon after, the innkeeper’s husband brings us some food.

“My treat.” Kiara says. “You bought food for both of us last night, I’m paying for us this morning.”

We have our breakfast and Kiara also pays for provisions for the next part of our journey. The villagers are also helpful enough to let us know that later in the day a wagon is going to head for the dwarven capital. They offered us to hitch a ride towards the closest trading post and from there we can find a different wagon that goes to Riledo. Kiara and I were all too happy to accept that offer. When we left, Kiara and I sat on the back, and as the wagon left a couple of the villagers, including the innkeeper, were waving at us. We of course waved back.

I look over at Kiara, who is staring blankly ahead of her. She must be having things on her mind as well. Have I really not been noticing her as a potential lover all this time? “True.” I say. “But when I lay there tied to that bed, I started to fear I would no longer be able to live my life the way I wanted. To never go adventuring again. Never again meet the friends I made at the Dark Dragons. To never again be able to write a letter to my mother or see her again. But then you showed up. Even though you’re always dressed in black and make use shadows, it was like you were a light that gave me hope again.”

Kiara then parts her lips as if she wants to say something. But no words come. I guess she is stunned by my words.

I thought of maybe saying something like ‘I owe you’ or 'Thank you for being there for me’. But for some reason I felt any of those would ruin the mood. Then I decided that if I can’t come up with the right words, maybe actions could speak best.

I slowly lean towards Kiara for a kiss. Slow enough that if she didn’t want it, she has all the time she needs to stop me. She never does. My face come so close to hers that I think I could finally see the outline of her nose. Then my lips touch hers and she doesn’t pull back.

It worked. She’s letting me. That innkeeper was right. I’m going to need to thank her if I ever visit there again.

I then reach with my hand for Kiara’s legs. I have to do it based on touch, though. I don’t want to break the kiss. Instead, my hand finds hers. Kiara immediately turns her hand around and holds mine. You know what, holding hands is maybe even better then caressing her legs. Kiara then takes a breath and I feel her hot breath against my face. For the next couple of minutes, it feels like Kiara and I are the only people in the world. This moment where I only think about Kiara. This is a moment where everything feels right with the world. I guess that proves it now. I am in love with Kiara. I am so happy I finally found out.
