Reading the article

When Kasumi arrived home she wasn’t surprised to smell her dinner being cooked. Her mother having done so everyday, though the reason why made Kasumi sick but she has no way to change the simple reality of her situation. And trying to do anything about it would cause more problems than it would solve.

“I’m home mother.” She yelled, entering the home and collapsing onto one of the sofas. She could hear her mother in the other room call back to her,

“Excellent sweetie, do you think Master will come home tonight?” She called back, but Kasumi sighed. Her ‘master’ had died ten years ago but she couldn’t accept that, and the only person who might’ve helped her was now shaking her ass as a model.

Speaking of whom, there was still that article she’d bought. She supposed it was worth looking at. She sighed, flipping through the article until she found the interview, and with a great deal of scepticism she began reading.

Readers this is your lovely, your sexy, your beloved Ren. I know it’s been a while since we last saw each other but I’ve been tending to my darling Izuku. He’s a wonderful young man with the heart as pure as gold.

That couldn’t be right, Kasumi had known Ren since she was born and never had she known her to compliment anyone. To see anyone else as anything more than a selfish jerk ass, she framed any act of kindness as some twisted attempt of selfishness. For her to consider anyone decent, never mind considering them to have a heart of gold was beyond comprehension. She kept reading.

He’s still training to be a hero, but I know he’ll be a wonderful hero who puts his all into saving people. He’s still training at U.A. I know that he’ll be the greatest hero in history who makes All Might look like a D tier washout.

If Kasumi thought something was odd before than this was another dimension level of weird. Ren never cared about anyone but herself, and thought everyone was like her. She thought the same about heroes, even All Might but to see her gush over anyone like this was so alien to her.

I think he’s an angel and that he deserves the whole world. He deserves everything in the world, he deserves to be happy. I think we should-

Kasumi dropped the magazine in disgust. The rest of the article was akin to a cheesy teenage love confession. Straight out of a child’s love anime, surely this couldn’t be her. Surely?

She found herself with on thing to investigate, U.A. This Izuku Midoriya might be controlled or manipulated by Ren, or something else. Still Kasumi had to know. She would be spending a trip to U.A.
