Check the Chests, and Gather what is left of the Door

Evan and Glarka figured they would find clues, or at least something useful, and split up with Glarka taking the chests on the left and Evan taking the chests on the right. The first chest Evan opens, the one on the far right, has a light crossbow with a case of 20 bolts, that would be useful; the second one he opens has a tool hammer and crowbar (both seem to be steel) with 10 pitons, those would probably be useful later; the third chest had some leather torso armor in very good condition, definitely something he would want, and a shorthanded spear with a long head and sharp edges with a leather-wrapped ebony wood shaft; and the fourth, and final chest for him had leather side pouch and sea green crystal twice the size of his thumb, there was the silhouette of what appeared to be a bunch of seaweed or a tentacle. Evan took everything out in the order he found them, he felt a cold shock course through his arm when he picked up the crystal. He figured it meant something, but he didn't think it was important at the moment.

Glarka's check of the chests yielded some interesting results, for her. The first chest had her missing top, somehow, and it was a bit snugger than she remembered when she put it on, the chest also had 5 simple javelins, it had been a while since she had carried the weapons; the second chest contained a sickle, her backpack and bedroll, and a mess kit; the third chest had a quarterstaff, 50 feet of hemp rope, her fire starting kit (a small wooden box of tinder twigs), and her hunting trap; and the fourth chest had a fresh set of traveling clothes perfectly sized for her figure, a pair of iron bracers, and what looked like an iron ring and 7 feet of brown cloth folded into a neat little square. She decided to grab the cloth and use it to load up the pieces, fragments, and splinters of the obsidian door into as a bundle she then tied and stashed on the side of her bag with her rope, she was curious to try some things after hearing about what Evan had said about the material, and if just pieces layered on each other could block a dragon's fire breath she wanted to see what an oven or forge made of the material could accomplish. After a few additional minutes of investigating the areas around the chests, the two returned to the center of the room after gathering everything up everything the chests had.
