A Tough Decision

So who was next? You look at the screen, the two icons looking at you, stylized portraits of your two other roommates. Part of you realized the correct answer should be neither. Sephora and Rebecca weren't the people trying to kick you out.

While Sephora was more prone to hearing out and thinking through the ludicrous complaints of Erica, she was still cool with you. She was fun, and the two of you got along well for being introduced relatively recently. Yeah, she never invited you anywhere, and you never really poured your heart out to her, but you never really felt you had to, with Rebecca being across the hall. She mostly spent her days going out of the house, living her life. You couldn't really blame her for that. Maybe the app would help you better understand her. But you could also understand her better by, you know, talking with her.

Rebecca was the absolutely last person you wanted to look at in the app. What if you found some terrible secret about her, like the app told you she was only interested in money or something? That particular trait wouldn't be true, but any number of other one's might be. You knew her, being her best friend and all. But if she was hiding something, would it ruin everything? Or even more likely, was trying to find that out a sign that you didn't respect her, that you were a bad friend?

She was your friend, and this app tended toward sexual kinks and deep personality traits. As a friend, either it'd be obvious and tell you that she's kind-hearted, a bit of a pushover, funny, adventurous, and a good cook. Or it'd tell you something that you should never know, like that she actually loves being sat on by fat dudes and you'd never be able to look at her the same way again.

Sometimes, in order to be a good friend, you have to know when to give friends space.
So there's your answer. Nobody. A tough decision given the addictive voyeuristic power this app gives you.
