Tell them to check the computer from your ship

“Check the computer from my ship.” You insist. “It will show that I launched in the year 2046 and travelled at extremely close to the speed of light. Due to relativity…”

“Definitely take him to a psychologist.” The doctor interrupts.

“Thanks doc.” Amada says, wrapping you up again. On the way out of the room she runs into Peter.

“Rebecca is waiting for you in her office. I’ve told her everything we know about Robert here.” He informs her. “I’ve also got a bottle for him. I don’t know how long he was out there but he must be thirsty.”

“Thanks. Rebecca’s a good social worker.” Amanda shifts you so you are cradled in one arm and accepts the bottle from Peter. “I’ll drop him off in her office then I want to check something on that thing we found him in.”

She pushes the nipple between your lips. You try to clamp your mouth shut but she is too fast and you only succeed in squirting the sweet liquid into your mouth. You swallow it, the motion drawing more liquid from the bottle.

“Good boy.” Amanda coos as she carries you through the building.

She pushes another door open and steps into an office. “Hello Rebecca. Thank you for taking this case on such short notice.”

“It’s alright Amanda. I wasn’t busy.” The other woman replies. “So this is Robert.” She pulls the blanket down to look at your face. “He is a cutie.”

Amanda passes you to Rebecca then waves to you. “Bye bye.”

“Hello Robert.” Rebecca says. “I’m Rebecca. It’s my job to make sure you’re safe and taken care of.” She smiles warmly down at you. ”I’ve got you some clothes.” She holds up a pale blue footed sleeper with a big yellow duck on the chest, then unwraps you from your blanket and notices your wet diaper. “But I’d better change you first.”

She lays you on the floor then collects some changing supplies from a drawer. Returning to you, she untapes the diaper and wipes you clean. Your skin is still sensitive but the cream has helped a lot. She applies some more cream and then rediapers you before putting you into the footed sleeper.

Leaving you to sit on the floor, she kneels next to you. “Can you tell me how you got out into the forest all alone?”

“I am a test pilot.” You start. Rebecca smiles and encourages you as you tell the story but it’s clear that she’s just humouring you. She doesn’t believe any of it.

When your tale is finished, Rebecca sets up a small playpen. “You can wait here until Peter and Amanda figure out where you really came from.” She lifts you up and places you inside with a few toys. “I’ve got to do some paperwork.” She returns to her desk, periodically looking up to smile at you.
