Lauren on display before the class

Lauren stood, wearing a slingshot bikini and nothing else before her entire fashion design class. They stared excitedly, jeering, some sneaking photos. Lauren cringed. Okay, this might be pretty embarrassing, but maybe Miss Goldinga would be impressed? She looked to her teacher, who wore a smirk herself.

"I see you did not forget your critique today." She said to Lauren.

"No, you see..." Lauren tried to explain.

"No, you thought you'd do something bold and impress us all! Well, let's see if it worked."

Miss Goldinga addressed the class.

"Lauren is wearing what's known as a slingshot bikini. Maybe as revealing as a bikini can get. Certainly not normal school attire. She has no shoes, no underwear. Utterly exposed except a few straps of fabric."

Somehow her teacher saying that made Lauren all the more aware how skimpy her outfit was.

"SO, what do you think? Does it work?"

The class, largely laughing shook their heads. Lauren stuck her lower lip out. She'd been hoping for at least some appreciation!

"I agree." Miss Goldinga said. "But, it's not enough to just say someone is in a bad, or in this case, embarrassing outfit. We must examine why!"
