Ninja Dojo

At the end of the hall the pair found a truly unique space. It was a large room with a simple wooden floor and ornate paper walls. Kirito immediately recognized this room as a dojo. The room was entirely empty except for a large scroll on the far side of the room with the word stealth written in Kanji.

"I guess that's the quest starter," Asuna said.

"Yeah," he replied unenthusiastically.

"Something wrong, Kirito-kun."

"What um no. it's just this room just makes me feel a little homesick."

"You lived in a Dojo?"

"What no. Well kinda." Kirito stumbled over his words. "It's just familiar you know?"

"Yeah I know." Asuna said placing her hand on Kirito's shoulder. The two looked at each other sweetly then smiled. "The quest starter is over there. You ready."

"Whenever you are baby," Kirito joked causing Asuna to laugh. They then approached the large scroll. When they got close enough the scroll suddenly began to glow and a green mist appeared around it. The mist coalesced in front of the scroll and became a ghostly ninja warrior. The couple walked up to the ninja and a text box appeared in front of him.

Bonus Quest: The Art of Stealth

Greetings young warrior(s). If you have come this far then you must be truly strong fighters, but strength is not always enough. I am Splinker Grandmaster of Ninjutsu and have a challenge for you. I have hidden my 8 ninjutsu scrolls across the world of Sword Art Online. The scrolls are completely invisible only someone with my blessing can see these scrolls and even then they can only be taken when one is undetected. Easy, yes. Well no there is one more wrinkle. A true ninja can remain out of sight using nothing but their keen mind and quick wit so you must gather my scrolls without using any of your weapons or gear. This may seem dangerous but fear not none of my scrolls are hidden within dungeons. If you can gather my 8 scrolls and return here I will impart all my ninja wisdom onto you. What do you say do you accept my challenge?

WARNING: This quest can NOT be canceled. Once started the questtaker(s) items will be confiscated and placed in a data cache until the quest is complete.

ADITIONAL INSTRUCTION: After accepting this quest and later after acquiring each scroll the questtaker(s) will be automatically teleported to the floor of the next scroll. After arriving at the next location a hint to each scrolls location will be provided.

"Not exactly the most immersive quest is it," Asuna questioned after she finished reading.

"Must have been a late edition," Kirito replied, "Not a lot of time for creative quest writing when release is a week away."

"Hmm..."

The pair stood there for awhile. Their mission had only been to find the hidden chamber and report back to the Aincrad Liberation Front. However.

"Ok I'm just going to say it," Kirito blurted out, "This quest seems ridiculously easy."

"I know right," Asuna replied, "No monster fighting. No grinding. Other then the time it might take to complete these riddles this sounds like a quest from floor 10."

The two remained quiet for another second. Both rereading the quest dialogue to make sure they didn't miss anything.

"You're thinking we could do this on our own too right?" Asuna asked.

"Definitely," Kirito replied, "we both have our stealth skills maxed out."

"And we're two of the strongest players in the game." Asuna added. "What could go wrong?"

"Then lets do this."

And so Kirito and Asuna both pressed YES on the quest indicator to start their next adventure.
