Mark tells Natalie about his history with Winter

“So yeah, I don’t really know where I sit with her right now but just thought you should know,” Mark said after sharing with her the history of his relationship with Winter.

Natalie nodded, maybe feeling a little awkward but it wasn’t anything she was showing. “That’s okay, I really appreciate you sharing that, thank you.”

“That’s alright, just thought I should since it’s your actual dorm room mate and I think you’re pretty cool so uhh yeah...” he said, blushing slightly.

She smiled a little more, “Yeah you’re pretty cool too... I know I’ve only been here for a week but most people seem so cliquey, even the other freshman. That’s why I really appreciate you helping me out.”

“Oh anytime, really, I enjoyed getting to know you. Anyways, did you want to get a drink or something?” he asked her.

She nodded politely before Mark led the way to the closest beer keg. Natalie looked quite nice tonight, she had on a casual black dress that stopped just before her knees, it went nicely with a black jacket over the top.

However, she certainly stood out from the other girls inside who mostly dressed very slutty with even a couple who were topless, letting their bare breasts be viewed by all.

With drinks in hand, they found a spot away from most of the craziness, giving them a chance to speak again. They sat together for what seemed like hours, chatting away.

“Have you got your future planned out yet Mark?” Natalie asked him after they had both polished off a couple of drinks.

He shook his head, “Not really to be honest, haven’t thought about it that much. I sort of came here more for social reasons, get myself out there a lot more after I just wasted high school away studying,” he told her.

“That’s still alright, we’re young, it’s the time to do that sort of thing.”

“What about you? What brought you here?” Mark asked her.

“Well... I’m still not 100% sure what I want to do after college but I’m doing an arts degree here so if everything goes well with that, maybe something within that field?” she suggested.

Mark looked pretty impressed, she certainly at least had a direction that she was going in, “That’s awesome, I wish I had at least some sort of idea.”

At that moment, the two noticed Cassidy dancing just nearby with some senior footballer.

“Good to see you’ve made some new friends though,” Mark told her, referring to Cassidy. They both took another look at the brunette who was still out there dancing.

“Yeah we had a class together this morning and she took me out for some lunch after, she’s a good chick. You haven’t got a lot of history with her too have you?” she joked, laughing, not expecting the answer to be yes.

The expression on Mark’s face was all Natalie needed to know. “Oh wow, her as well?”

“Uhh yeah maybe just a little bit, nothing as intense as what I had with Winter but there is history there with her too,” he said reluctantly, feeling a little bad for the innocent freshman cutie.

However, she seemed to take it well again. It’s not like she could be mad at the guy she fancied had gotten around with plenty of the girls that attended the same college. Instead she nodded along, understanding where he was coming from.

As they were discussing Cassidy, a little female squeal came from the girl in discussion, just meters away from them...
