Charlene takes Andrew to her workplace

Before covering up his sore rear with clothing again, Charlene made sure Andrew knew how to correctly tuck his twig and berries, giving hints and tips to find the smoothest crotch, after which Charlene bundled up some of the previous day’s purchases before driving herself and her offspring to her place of employment, the beauty clinic known as The Look.

Despite not being the owner, Charlene was high enough in the employment ladder to have her own set of keys, allowing her entry to the clinic which was closed on Sundays, thus giving her and Andrew the entire place to themselves.

Andrew had never seen his mother’s workplace before and was amazed at just how classy and modern it looked.

The building took up at least two floors, most of the bottom floor of which was taken up by a huge salon with rows of mirrors, seats, sinks, and hairdryers, alongside long nail and makeup bars: the site of it all reminding him of an elite gym club.

The back rooms contained a labyrinth of shelves with all the supplies a hairdresser, beautician, or aesthetician could ever wish for, and the upstairs contained a myriad of rooms for the clinic’s wide range of treatments, including massages, tanning, waxing, laser hair removal and electrolysis, dermal fillers, peels and wraps, microblading, and a myriad of other treatments to enhance one’s beauty.

The air smelled sweet with the scent of aromatherapy, and the pop-iest of girly pop songs echoed throughout the empty rooms.

“Whaddaya think? Ain’t it just paradise?”, Charlene asked Andrea with a smirk, who replied “I totally wasn’t expecting anything this big”, realising by ‘her’ mother’s soft chuckles that the phrasing might have been a bit off.
