Seating arrangement time!
The Premiere Episode: This Spot is Taken!
The Bishop living room consisted of two couches, one that directly faced the TV and one to the right. On the left-hand side, there was a comfortable armchair and a small table. Taylor declared the armchair as hers, while Zack staked a claim to the middle seat on the couch facing the TV. He would've taken a side spot, but Chloe already sat against the right arm of the sofa with a blanket covering her pajamas. Joining his best friend, Zack gave her a small, encouraging smile.
Over on the couch against the sidewall, Jared sat down at the end farthest from the TV. While he did that, Hannah had been busy setting up the other end of the couch in the way she liked it. However, when the blonde glanced over and saw Jared, her eyes perked up with interest. Only a second before Poppy claimed the middle seat, Hannah plopped down on it.
"I was about to sit there," Poppy pointed out.
"My spot!" Hannah laughed, directing the redhead to sit at the seat she vacated after two seconds.
"But you always sit there," Poppy pointed out, glancing behind at Taylor. The brunette merely shrugged, uninterested in getting involved in this argument.
"Tay's not going to overrule me. She knows better," the blonde practically sang.
"How about we have Jared sit in the middle?" Poppy threw out.
The boy in question suddenly sat up straighter, looking concerned. There was no way he wanted to sit between those two friends if they were in a bickering mood. Waving off the idea, Jared breathed a sigh of relief as Hannah shot the suggestion down.
"Nope! I might need the big guy as a pillow or backrest."
With a loud sound of annoyance, Poppy accepted defeat for now and sat down next to Hannah. Sizing up the room and the one remaining good seat, Ashley mimicked her sister by rushing over to sit down on Zack's left-hand side. A moment later, Paris entered the living room and threw up her hands at the lack of seats. Grumbling, the younger brunette went over to the cabinet, where she pulled out several pillows. Tossing them down in front of Taylor, Paris laid down on the floor, facing the TV with her feet in front of Ashley.
When Peter walked into the room, he immediately walked out. When he returned a couple of minutes later, he carried a rocking chair. Taylor complimented his choice as Peter pulled the chair next to hers.
"Yeah, way to announce that you're the old man of the group, Grandpa," Hannah teased.
"Does that make you our grandma?" Ashley challenged.
Zack high-fived the giggling cheerleader.
"Sure, laugh it up. We all know that you'll be popping a kid out way before me," Hannah smirked at her younger sister.
"Aw, man! Nobody saved me a seat?" Leon moaned as he finally walked into the living room. The disappointment that clouded his face vanished as he saw Paris stretched out on the floor. Checking the cabinet, he found a single pillow left. Even before he could follow through on his plan, Paris destroyed it.
"No way! I'm not having a basketball player sitting next to me. Especially not the same one who withdrew his marriage proposal minutes later for a bigger pair of tits. No offense, Chloe!"
The shy redhead squeaked and covered herself up to her neck with the plaid blanket.
"C'mon, Par, I never withdrew my offer. I want both of you to be my wives." Flashing a broad smile, he knelt down next to the newest cheerleader. The same one who promptly shoved him over, causing him to land on his back.
"Stay away from me, freak!"
"Those harem fantasies never work in real life," Hannah remarked.
"Totally," Poppy agreed.
"Uh, Par, you might want to be careful. We don't need to waste tonight at the hospital if Leon gets a concussion," Zack suggested.
"I'm sure his mom will understand. Now get away!" Paris ordered Leon. He scrambled to lay sideways near the TV in front of Poppy.
"Better not block my view, buster," the older redhead warned.
"Are the children done bickering? I'd like to start before our parents get back," Taylor questioned.
"Ooh, wait!" Hannah yelled, causing a knowing sigh from her BFF. "Does anyone know of a longer description than that?" The blonde pointed at the TV screen where a brief one-paragraph teased the show. "And the main names?"
"Can't you just watch and find out?" Jared challenged.
"No, she can't," Peter responded, sounding defeated from past efforts.
"Here, I got it," Paris announced, staring at her phone. "Samantha and Shane Baker are a pair of grown siblings who have suffered recent tragedies. Samantha divorced her husband after discovering years of cheating. Shane, her younger brother, is still dealing with the loss of his wife three years ago to cancer. With their parents dying in an accident, the siblings seek to fulfill their parents' dream of owning a bed and breakfast. They're joined by Samantha's two children, Melissa and Matt Wright, and Shane's daughter, Zoe. Buying the abandoned Peacham Manor on Charm Lake, they're about to discover why the area is rightfully called Passion Peaks."
"Sounds way more boring than I thought," Leon complained.
"Shut it!" Paris snapped.
"What do they look like?" Poppy questioned.
"Based on their IMDB profiles, I say everything has brown hair except Zoe. She's a redhead."
"My fav already!" Poppy cheered. "Right, Chloe?"
"Can we just turn the lights off and watch?" the younger redhead pleaded.
"Leon, you're on light duty," Taylor proclaimed.
"Again?" Leon moaned but rushed over to perform his duty.
"So what do you think, kids?" Samantha Baker asked her two children and her niece.
The three teenagers glanced around at each other in disbelief and concern. The Peacham Manor might have been something special back in the day, but it looked ready to crumble in the present.
"Is it safe?" Zoey Baker questioned, looking over at her father.
"Of course, it's safe. We wouldn't buy a place if it wasn't," Shane Baker responded.
"It doesn't look safe," Matt Wright replied, not sure if he believed his uncle.
"I'm delaying college for a year to stay here?" Melissa Wright challenged. The high school senior appeared sick of the thought. Although her senior year had just started, she already had second thoughts about her promise to help her mother set up the bed and breakfast starting next summer.
"Trust us, honey," Samantha said to her daughter. "By the time you graduate in June, this place will look a lot different."
"I'm not sleeping in that place," Matt muttered.
"Sleep?! Oh, god! You expect us to sleep in that haunted house?" Zoey screeched. Her bouncing caused her growing bosom to bounce.
"No, no. Once I get the servants' quarters and carriage house renovated, that's where you kids will stay. Frank and a few of his guys will spend part of the winter with me in the carriage house. We can get that modernized the quickest, and there is a living area above. We'll work on the old servants' quarters during that time and hopefully start the main house after the new year," Shane explained. The Frank was his good friend and soon-to-be-former business partner, Frank Harden. The two friends had run their own small construction business until Shane decided to sell his share and pursue the life of running a bed and breakfast.
"Ooh, will the hot guys from the company be helping you, Dad?" Zoey's interest suddenly piqued.
"Is Thor going to be one?" Melissa inquired.
"Oh, I hope so!" Zoey agreed.
"For the last time, his name is not Thor!" Shane practically screamed.
"He totally looks like Thor," Melissa whispered to her nodding cousin.
"You gotta admit, little brother, he does look like Thor," Samantha couldn't help but join in.
Of the five Bakers and Wrights, only Matt paused to study the beautiful Charm Lake. While he knew that a few cabins were also located on the crystal clear lake, they weren't in sight. And considering that the lake sat high up in a valley with mountains all around, Matt couldn't help but wonder how lonely Charm Lake could get. Being so far away from civilization felt eerie.
"Doesn't that look like Silver Lake and Heather's cabin?" Ashley whispered into Zack's ear.
"Silver Lake? Maybe. I've never been to Heather's cabin," Zack whispered back.
"You never been there? We'll have to change that."
"But it looks more like Wynwick Lodge from the pictures I've seen of it," Zack said.
"Good call! You can't get close to the abandoned lodge on land, but I've seen it from the lake," Ashley replied. The tiny blonde had been antsy from the start of the episode and continued to reposition herself in different ways. This time she unfolded her legs out from under her.
"Problems?" Zack whispered, smiling.
"Can't get comfortable. My legs need stretching."
"I can't move down any further, but you can use me for a footrest if you need," Zack suggested.
"Will you two lovebirds shut up!" Hannah shouted. "Some of us are trying to watch."
"Sorry," Zack and Ashley both apologized. The younger blonde hissed thanks and propped her feet onto his knee.
"Wow, this looks amazing," Zoey gushed.
With spring officially started, Samantha had brought the kids up to check out the progress. Zoey's excitement came during their tour of the renovated servants' quarters. What had once been a dingy building filled with tiny rooms now had an open concept for a small living area and kitchenette. Two nicely-sized bedrooms and a spacious bathroom completed the building set aside for Melissa and Zoey.
Standing in the small living room, Matt glanced up at the newly added skylights. Through one, he could see his bedroom located on the second floor of the carriage house. Now a three-car garage with a workshop on the ground floor, Matt's living space wasn't as nice. A decent-sized bedroom, bathroom, and small sitting area with a mini-fridge might not be up to par with the girls' place, but it was all his. And he even had a small deck over that gave him a view of the servants' quarters nestled into the woods.
"We're a little behind schedule with the main house," Shane interrupted the girls' excitement.
"A little?" Samantha muttered, earning a sharp glare from her brother.
"Well, we didn't realize how rough the winters are up here," Shane admitted.
"And we'll need to take that into account for bookings once we're up and running," Samantha added. "It might be more difficult than we thought, but the lake is absolutely stunning in the winter."
"Frank's also agreed to let me keep Diego and Ulrik as long as need them." Zoey mouthed 'Thor' at Melissa because of the last name. "That's no small concession. They're two of our best workers. I'm going to owe Frank a lot of favors after this is done."
"He's already set up for a lifetime of stays here," Samantha laughed. "Oh, and I also called in a favor from a big gun. Emma's agreed to help me decorate the main house. So she'll be over more often at the house and even agreed to help with the finishing touches when we move here after school ends. She's using two weeks of vacation time to help us."
Matt's eyes shot up at the news. One of his mother's closest friends, Emma Lightly, had a well-earned reputation as one of the best interior designers and decorators in their hometown. Ms. Lightly had already helped coordinate the redesign of the manor's interior. Her staying for two weeks this summer greatly excited Matt. Not only did she have a fun, lively attitude, but the blonde also had a hot librarian look going on. Something that Matt found strangely compelling.
"We got one last surprise," Shane announced. His sister's face brightened as she expected the kids to be thrilled with this unknown addition.
The older siblings led their children out onto the small screened-in porch. Exiting through the door that they had entered, the kids were led around to the back of the servants' quarters. A strange-looking wooden shed sat about ten feet away. When Shane opened the door, the threesome gasped.
"We have our own hot tub?!" Melissa squealed in excitement.
"It's not just yours," Samantha attempted to point out. Zoey's added screaming washed out her words.
"Yeah, we decided to add it last October. After working hard every day, we needed a place to relax," Shane explained. "So, you'll be sharing it with all of us until the construction is done."
"We have our own hot tub!" Melissa and Zoey cheered, ignoring the part about sharing.
Zack felt a hard nudge from an elbow on his right-hand side. Drawing his attention away from the two hot teenagers jumping for joy, he glanced over at Chloe. His best friend's face had a shocked/horrified look. Mouthing, "What?" at her, Zack followed her motions downward. Zack imagined his face equally matched Chloe's as she found himself in utter disbelief at the sight that greeted him.
Ashley's legs sat across his knees. That he had known. What he didn't realize was that his left hand sat on the uppermost section of her thigh while his right hand slowly caressed the blonde's smooth leg. Zack watched as his fingers, moving seemingly on their own, slid under Ashley's pajama shorts before pulling out.
Shocked, Zack **** his hand to stop. Looking over at Ashley's face, he saw her attention focused on Passion Peaks. Without turning her gaze from the screen, the blonde placed her hand on top of Zack's.
"Don't stop. A massage feels nice," she said softly.
Even more shocked, Zack turned to face Chloe. His best friend threw her palms up in an I-don't-know gesture. Something on the screen caught the redhead's eye, leaving Zack all alone in deciding if he should start rubbing Ashley's leg again.
"Leon, lights!" Taylor's sudden order caused Zack to jump in his seat. Chloe joined in with Ashley's giggles over his reaction.
"Hey, we just got to the good part," Hannah pointed out as her BFF paused before the second episode started.
"And I need to pee," Taylor informed, already leaving the room.
"Anyone else need to go? Or get snacks?" Peter questioned, standing up.
"Where's Mrs. Bishop's wine stash?" Poppy asked.
"Great idea!" Hannah agreed with a clap.
"Man, that mom is hot," Leon announced.
"You know, Samantha and Melissa kinda look like Monica and Taylor," Ashley pointed out. The blonde stood up, stretching her toned body.
"And that Zoey looks like Chloe," Paris chimed in, horrifying Chloe.
"Nah, Zoey looks more like you with Chloe's hair," Jared remarked.
"Dude, whatever. All I know is that for a mom, she's got a great ass!" Leon commented, glancing down at his shorts and rapidly leaving the room.
"Did I miss something?" Zack softly asked Chloe. "What happened at the end of the episode?"
"Too busy feeling Ashley up, huh?" Chloe teased. "After bedtime, Samantha walked into a room and dropped her robe. Leon's going wild because they showed her naked butt."
"Who's room?"
"They didn't show."
Sorry about the delay between chapters. I struggled in deciding how to use the TV show with what's happening with our regular cast. I didn't like my first attempt. Almost abandoned the idea after it, but I think I found a way that works now. I'm probably planning on spreading the show episodes over three nights with the escalating sex scenes matching what's happening at the Bishops.
Escalations in Episode Two? In the Bishops' living room?
