Go fetch Jan

"So, this is fun and all," Jane said, "But I'm already missing being a little more solid."

You frowned, looking at the wall clock. "It's been two hours, you know. You have twenty nine days and twenty two hours to go of this."

"I know, I know! But, look, I got really excited all of a sudden about the potential of using another girl's body for us, and I kind of want to try that out as soon as possible."

You stared at the shirt, looking right at the breasts--where else were you supposed to look when there was no head to look at?--and were totally speechless. Your eyes told the story though. Jane really was seriously suggesting that she might go get the girl next door and use her somehow in, in... whatever this was that you were doing? It's hard to really know how to classify it! As far as anyone else might be concerned, you're just getting your girlfriend's clothes all wrinkled. Nobody would understand this!

"You really want to bring Jan into the fold? Jane, we're talking about a third person being subject to some really unusual stuff, whether she even believes us when we tell her what's happening! Besides, it's... I mean, let's be honest, that's a whole other woman's body in the mix..."

"Hey, as long as I'm attached to her in some fashion, especially if it's literal fashion, then she's fair game."

Jan had been your next door neighbor for three years. She's got an extremely pretty face, and an unforgettable smile to go along with her strawberry blonde hair, usually done up in a loose braid. She was almost as tall as you, and a bit thin and bony. Even if Jane didn't have the same sort of stunning facial structure, she won out in the curves department, by far. Jan just couldn't compete there--her shallower hips and A-cups didn't make her ugly or anything, but you preferred the curves and softness of your girlfriend. Now, had her head been on a similarly shaped body to Jane...

However, Jan really did have quite an interest in you. It was an open secret, as she of course had no intention of getting in the way of you and Jane getting married and the like, but she also was still quite jealous of that fact. Mostly all that ever amounted from your encounters with her was some light flirting, and some stares from afar. You're not sure what it was that made her focus so much on you, but Jane was keenly aware of Jan's nature. Since she knew what you liked in a woman, she knew you would never take the initiative to approach Jan, and you knew Jan would be too polite to make any actual aggressive advances.

Of course, with whatever Jane was planning...

"Tell you what, John," you heard the disembodied voice say. "I'm going to go scout out the Jan situation, and see if I can include her in on the fun. You just settle in here, okay?" Jane started to pull her little outfit together again, once more looking like an invisible girl with jeans and a blouse on, creating a fairly complete body for the most part.

You crossed your arms as you looked at the floating clothing. "Look, whatever you do... please ask her first?"

"Oh, I'll make sure to get her consent! Or to make her really, really want it. I think the end result will be something she and I will find mutually beneficial, trust me."

You kept quiet. Honestly, you didn't have any other choice but to trust her, since it wasn't like you could restrain her. How would you stop a ghost? You can't hold down the thing she's possessing and hope she stays put. Jane can have or do whatever she wants and so long as she was an intangible being of pure energy, there wasn't much you could do.
