Route 202-2

It's not long before you enter the second section of tall grass, this one curves following the path around the ledges and up the hill, and is significantly longer than the last one. However it seems like, as with the earlier patch, the number of trainers have caused a significantly lower number of active wild Pokémon in the area. Sure enough once in a while as you moved you might have a Bidoof or a Starly attack you, but your Pokémon make quick work of them.

Stepping again onto the main path and out of the tall grass you are beginning to feel disheartened. The only wild Pokémon you have faced thus far are Bidoof and Starly, and with a Starly of your own there really isn't much you want to catch. Making your way forwards along the winding trail you see a number of male trainers standing off to the side, eyeing you as you approach.

There are three of theme, each seems to have a variety of Poke Balls on their belts and they are looking you over happily. One is dressed in every day clothes, a pair of jeans and a shirt, another is wearing shorts and a t-shirt, the last is wearing jeans with a white shirt and a blue jacket.

"Hey you! With the Pokedex!" The one wearing shorts shouts. You freeze for a moment panicking. Three trainers will be a lot to defeat consecutively. But you did manage to defeat the last trainer easily enough. You swallow feeling a pressure near your heart. Whether it is from fear or excitement you are unsure. You step forward, you know that if you run in fear now, you'll never succeed in the end.

"What can I help you boys with?" You ask once more feigning confidence.

"We want to battle you, one after another." The one in the blue Jacket says as you approach. "We'll pay you quadruple the winnings should you beat us." Then he smiles. "I'm sure you know what'll happen though if you lose. Once more the thumping hammers your chest, fear and excitement seem to be blending. At this point, it would be against the law for you to turn them down. You're stuck. Swallowing hard you agree.

"Alright then. You're on!"
