Chapter 4 by Ziggu45 Ziggu45

Who?

Izuku Midoriya aka Deku

Izuku knew there are several objective truths to reality. The laws of motion and gravity as discovered by Isaac Newton, that the world is 80% made of people with super powers called Quirks, that he was born in the unlucky 20% without a Quirk, and that he is the Ninth person to inherit the transferable Quirk One-for-All. And that he will likely be the last to hold the power.

Izuku knew that there are subjective truths to reality based on one’s perspective. He is a drop out from U.A., he is a vigilante, and he needs to deal with the League of Villains on is own. These can change at any time by any number of factors, and so are ‘true’ for only a single moment.

Now Izuku finds himself in a black space, ghosts of seven of his eight predecessors around him, each one trying to understand what was going on.

“It... Can it really be true?”. Izuku asked, looking at the ghosts.

The muscular Nana Shimura crossed her arms and tilted her head down to think. “Hmm. There p’s really only one way to find out, Deku.”

Izuku gulped. “Okay... When I wake up, I’ll... be outside class 1-A for my first day of class.” Izuku closed his eyes and opened them again. Instead of the black void representing OfA, he was in front of a familiar door. One he had not seen in months but had regularly thought about.

He looked down and saw he was dressed in his old school uniform, not the torn costume he used as a vigilante. He opened the door and saw a memory playing out again, Ida arguing with Bakugou over his behavior, and his classmates watching in amusement.

He let things play out as normal until Aizawa-sensei’s practical exam. Izuku let OfA cover him in a full cowl and pulled back to throw the baseball, when he felt his Quirk drain away. “If you can’t control your power, you don’t have a place here. Breaking your bones every time you use your Quirk makes you a liability.” Aizawa said, his eyes glowing.

Izuku glared right back. “I have full control of my Quirk, thank you very much.” And turned away from his teacher, easily getting his arm under control at 20% power, and rocketing the ball into the atmosphere. “See?”

Aizawa followed the arc as long as he could, then looked down to his monitor. “1000 kph, and not a single break. Looks like you do.”

Izuku took a deep breath and let it out. It had been a long time since Aizawa treated him like that, since anyone had, and it got to him. “DEKU!” Bakugou stormed up to his former friend and grabbed him by the shirt, lifting him up. “Have you been holding out on me!? Having a laugh by making me think you were Quirkless!?”

Izuku calmly removed his friend’s hands. “I would never do that Kaachan.” Izuku joined the rest of the class, but held his head as he felt it get dizzy. “What?”

“Deku, you...! Just stay out of my way!” Bakugou ordered, but the voice was higher somehow. Izuku looked and saw tell tale mounds under Bakugou’s shirt, and a swell at the hips.

“Why is Kaach-... Oh no.” Izuku then remembered one thing, honorifics have multiple meanings. When Izuku was young, he called Katsuki Bakugou ‘Kaachan’ because he couldn’t pronounce the name properly, but one part of the nickname was an honorific for a young person. An honorific that pop culture had deemed mostly for use with females.

“What have I done?” Izuku mumbled to himself, quietly falling into line.
