Third Session.

“Hey are you free to give me my last session tomorrow?” Bella texted on Monday night.

“Yeah definitely! What time were you gonna come in?” Chris responded.

“Maybe around ten?”

“Works for me!”

“Awesome! How did your session with Alice go?”

“Nah she cancelled last minute. Something about a sprained ankle."

“Oh hey Ms Rivera!” Lisa greeted Bella as she walked in the front door.

Lisa was behind the front desk and was running a new staff member through the basics of the computer system.

“Hi Lisa!” Bella greeted.

“Chris is just downstairs.” Lisa told her before returning to instruct the staff member.

Bella checked her phone and realised it was still only nine-fifty. She contemplated just waiting in reception but soon decided against it and went in search for him. She swiped her key card for the door at the bottom of the stairs and walked into the main pool area. She saw a few people swimming and then with a squint, noticed that Chris was one of them. He was swimming a relaxed and comfortable freestyle but still seemed to be easily overtaking everyone in the lap pool. Bella took a seat and watched him swim for a few minutes.

Chris finished his final lap of the pool and climbed out. He peeled his goggles off and saw Bella sitting on the benches.

“Hey!” He said approaching her. “Oh shit I’m sorry am I late?”

Bella had been looking at her phone when he left the water but she looked up suddenly when he spoke. Her eyes widened as she took in his form. He wore only a brightly coloured Speedo and his light smattering of chest hair stuck down to his giant breadth; his washboard abs glistened with pool water.

“No” She realised she hadn’t said anything for a few seconds, “No, I’m early… Lisa told me you were down here.”

“Oh good.” He grabbed his towel from the bench.

Bella couldn’t help herself and her eyes wandered south as he dried his face. “I like your trunks.” She said, ogling.

“Oh thanks” He laughed, “They’re Budgy Smugglers. They’re an Australian brand…Actually they do really cool women’s togs too.”

“I might have to get some. I used to love to swim but I haven’t done it in ages.” She said absent-mindedly, still gawking at him.

“Yeah let me know and I’ll shout you a pair. I’ll just jump through the shower really quick. I’ll meet you upstairs.”

Their third session and final session came to a close and they stood chatting by the water cooler.

“So that was our last session…” Bella said sadly, sipping her water bottle.

“That was your last free one yeah… Next time it’s fifty bucks…” Chris paused and when Bella didn’t laugh, he added with a grin “I’m kidding. I’ll help you whenever you like.”

She laughed and playfully slapped him on the arm. “So what’s the plan for the rest of the week?” She asked.

“Oh not too much..” Chris paused and summoned up some courage, “Actually… What are you doing Friday night?” He asked, a wave of nervousness suddenly approached him.

“Nothing really, why?”

“I’d like to take you on a date. Would you like to have dinner with me?”

Bella’s heart fluttered “I’d love to!” She beamed.
