“A shame you all had to cut it short.” Mei laments.

“You know Jesse, we’re in town for a few more days.” Mei’s intense eyes never leave yours. You knew after last night that despite being the smallest of the three Mei was the leader of their little pack. “Just sayin.”

“If you and Allie want to play doubles or anything.” Shonice adds as she pats her tennis bag. “We’re always game.”

More laughs. The double meaning couldn’t be more obvious. After all these months and years of awkwardness around the opposite sex suddenly beautiful women were throwing themselves at you! It was a lot to take in.

“Oh, yeah.” You say. “We’ll see.”

“Worried you can’t keep up with the girls?” Mei teases.

Shonice winks. “We’ll take it easy on you.”

“Oh boy.” You mutter awkwardly. If they only knew what you were here to do. Keeping your voice upbeat you reply. “I’ll keep it in mind.”

“Please do.”

“Well…I should let you two get to your training.”

“No training. Just staying limber, a few sets for fun.”

“This trip is all about fun. Fun with friends.”

“We’re all friends here, aren’t we Jesse?”

“Oh yeah, of course.” You nod forward, indicating you were about to head in. “I should...”

“He’s anxious to see her.” Shonice says to Mei with a chuckle as if you weren’t right there.

“Of course he is.” Mei replies as she steps back to open the door wider for you. “After last night it’s probably all he’s been thinking about.”

Shonice looks you up and down. “I think I’m a little jealous.”

“Down girl!” Mei chides playfully.

“Ahem.” You clear your throat and go to bid them goodbye. “Well, enjoy your tennis. Have fun.”

“We will.” Mei says as she nods back behind her. “She said to let yourself in.”

“The door’s unlocked.”

“She’s waiting for you.”

“Best not keep her waiting too long.” They laugh again. The sexy insinuation in their voices was as loud as a siren.
