Chapter 65 by YZS YZS

What does Percy have to say about the books?

"You have good taste, those are great books..."

Percy said playfully, clearly knowing the book Alice was going to read was about him. And after opening the book, and seeing that the first page is literally an epic drawing of Percy, Alice chuckled in surprise, but also more curious to read this book, now that she knew it was about Percy.

"Yea, i can see that... this story is about you, isn't it?" - Alice asked in a teasing manner, making Percy a little nervous, but glad to see her curiosity.

"Yes, they are based on tales from my old adventures... most of it is fake though, so i didn't do almost anything that book says... or at least not like it describes it..." - Percy replied with a lighthearted tone, which made Alice laugh, but mainly because she really wanted to see how the book depicted the demon king.

"Okay, let's see what adventures had back then..." - Alice said with a frisky smile, before reading with excitement what events had supposedly taken place in Percy's life, even if they were fake. And even though he was slightlt embarassed by this, Percy sat next to Alice, and read with her about his fantastical life.

Since the beginning it was clear the story was all about how Percy became the greatest demon king in history, and it was pretty much idolizing him throughout the entire lenght of the book. It wasn't that long, but it did contain a lot of action, brutal fights, and cool dialogues, that Alice actually loved a lot. She also liked how at one point, a love interest for Percy got included, and this caused Alice to be more interested in the story, specially because now it had romantic aspects.

Percy just sat in silence next to her, trying not to say anything about the book so Alice could enjoy it on her own. But after seeing how she reacted to the love interest in the story, he got nervous as he remembered that character was supposed to be her real first wife, who passed away centuries ago.

And since Percy was also impressed by how Alice was so engaged to the story, he smiled while thinking how she was learning a lot about his past, and him as a character. Even when some of the events were exaggerated, or even completely made up, Percy was still proud of this book, since it told a lot of important things to Alice, that he would have had a difficult time explaining to her in a normal conversation. And the best part for Percy was how much Alice seemed to enjoy the story, which got him a little emotional, but tried to keep it together until she finished the book.

"So, how was it?" - Percy asked with curiosity, after Alice finished reading the book about him, and seemingly being very entertained by it. Percy was really hoping Alice would like this book, which meant she liked all the things he did in the past, so he was happy to see Alice was even more excited than when she began reading the book.

"It was great!... i can't believe you did all of that... i'm sorry for what happened to your wife though... it was very entertaining, but a little emotional too..." - Alice responded with a joyful smile, and a slightly playful tone, which made Percy smile, with a somewhat shy expression.

Alice was very skeptical of most of the events depicted in the story, but she also didn't care if they were real, she enjoyed every single second of it. She had a lot of fun with all of the battles, the characters, and specially the love aspect of the story, with Percy and his wife living a tragic, short lived romance, that ended with the death of the demon king's love of his life. Alice was overall very excited by the story, and touched by the ending, but even though she didn't like the Percy in real life as much as the one in the story, she let him know how much she enjoyed the story.

"Thanks... that was a very good story, that i'm proud of... but is nice to hear you liked it..." - Percy replied timidly, after being surprised by the positive reaction Alice had. And since she was very entertained by the story, she gave Percy a lively smile, before they stared deeply into each other's eyes.

But after everything that happened, Percy got a little shy from reading with Alice, so he thought they may had enough fun for today. Although it was clear Alice wanted to read more, and since Percy still had time, it was possible for him to stay for a little longer. He could read something else with Alice, or maybe end the day, or let her read more of whatever she liked.

(+100 Alice's Affection Points)

What does Percy and Alice do next?
