After Percy had fun reading the book with Alice, he was a little tired of reading about himself, and even though they both enjoyed the experience, he thought to stop with the books, just in case things turned bad, considering that the other books are much more explicit. So even though he knew it could ruin Alice's fun, and he may lose the opportunity to have more fun with her, Percy decided he did enough for today, and they should stop reading about his old adventures.

"Okay, that was fun... but it was enough for day, we are leaving" - Percy said with a calm, but authorative tone, which not only surprised Alice, but also got her sad, after hearing she wasn't going to play read more with him. Alice was clearly looking forward to have more fun with Percy, and even though he wanted the same, and felt like it wasn't fair to Alice, he had to ignore her plead, but in a nice way so she wouldn't have hard feelings for him.

"Yes, we are leaving... i'm sorry, but maybe in the future you could read more..." - Percy replied with a mischievous smile, that actually seemed to show compassion for Alice. And since she still didn't want to go, she grabbed hold of Percy's arm, right as he started to walk away, trying to convince him to stay. Alice wanted to hold to that promise she was so excited by, but apparently Percy didn't actually care much about what she wanted, as he continued walking, and ignored Alice's begs.

So while Percy tried his hardest to get Alice to leave the library, she kept trying to convince him to stay, until she realized there was no point in doing it. Alice gave up on his hopes of playing reading more books with Percy, and even got a little upset at him for it, all while he began to think about what more they could do.

Although today it was clear he could get Alice happy, and have fun with her, Percy kept thinking it was best to stop their time together for today, before things could turn sour. But since he also had a bit of regret, from how Alice begged him to stay, Percy thought of a couple fun things he could do with her in the future, to make Alice grow fond of him, or at least share more great moments, since it was clear today there was a lot of potential for a good time between the two of them.

And now that they both left the library, Alice seemed to stay calm, but faking an angry frown to let Percy know her disappointment. And although he knew exactly how she felt, Percy focused more on what they could do next, which didn't make much sense to him, so he instead thought of something he could say to Alice, to unfortunately end their time together for today, but at least end it in a possitive note, that could make her hopeful for the future.
