Thomas "Tom" Bailey - A typical OZ Beta

The Baileys were one of the first big families to help bring Commodus Fields to prominence. Tom's grandfather was a ruthless business genius, and he ran his company and his home life with an iron fist. Tom's father, Sam, didn't have the best relationship with him, and it wasn't a surprise that Sam had him removed when he became Alpha rather than turn him into a bimbo.

Samuel Bailey could be described as a cold man, but that's because he was a product of a less than warm environment. He could be caring when he wanted to be, but he was subtle about it, Tom had trouble finding those moments, but he knew they were there.

Sam was married to two women; one was his sister Ryanna, a slightly naive rich girl who tried to be a more intelligent and outgoing woman but was watered down by their father's small-mindedness surrounding woman. Ryanna was more than caring enough to make up for Sam's coldness, and that helped when Sam's mother eventually passed on. Sam credited her with getting them both through it. The other woman was Nancy Rivera, a down-to-earth girl that Sam had met in college and fell in love with; the second he became Alpha and had gotten his father out of the way, Sam had proposed to Nancy, and the two kept a happy marriage to this day. Nancy was responsible for a lot of those warmer moments Tom would notice. She had a way of pushing Sam to be honest when he'd rather be aloof.

Sam had four kids, two with Ryanna and two with Nancy. He had two daughters with Ryanna, Diana, and Nicole. Both were cute and bubbly girls, but while Nicole was more grounded and friendly, Diana was more air-headed and obsessed with her elder sister. The second Diana turned 18, she couldn't keep her hands off of Nicole. The elder Bailey sister didn't seem to mind, even if the situation was a bit embarrassing.

Nancy gave birth to Sam's two sons, Dennis and Tom. Tom was a quiet and bookish young man. He was a bit of a nerd, but he had a good heart—some say too good to make any headway in an OZ—but it hardly mattered since Tom was a second son. Dennis was the oldest of the four siblings. He was aggressive and commanding, able to get Tom and his sisters to do whatever he wanted just by ordering them to do it, not an uncommon trait in a future Alpha. Dennis seemed gifted at any subject the piqued his interest and he knew it too, which made Dennis a bit arrogant. It wasn't that he wouldn't be a good Alpha. Far from it, Tom believed his elder brother had it in him to be one of the best, but he couldn't help but wonder if Dennis took after their grandfather and that big, dramatic changes might be in store for the Baileys.
